Just got this and I just HAD to give a review. Super fun to use, really well-made interface that builds great modern features into the original iPod style menus (which still are some of the best around IMO). When importing a whole album, it gets sorted correctly, which some other iPod style players don’t do! I listen mostly to my own files and internet radio stations, both work flawlessly. Haven’t listened much to podcasts yet, but it’s again very slick and navigable. My one suggestion is maybe let us customize the home screen items? I don’t really need the “shuffle albums” and “shuffle songs” modes, and I want the Now Playing category at the top of the list. Almost everything works well technically, but I’ve noticed it takes a bit too long to start up and when your music gets interrupted by Siri there’s a split-second delay. Fix those bugs, and you’ve got one of the best media players around!

I was hoping for a nostalgic experience, and this app hits the mark 💯🎯! Super cool interface, Apple Music integration, being able to change the color of the skin, love the games, love the podcasts and live radio. Very surprised with the amount of customization so far. Looking forward to see where future updates take this. Would love to see newly designed app icons, and to be able to change it to the color of the iPod skin we’ve chosen. Maybe one day an ability to add custom text/emoji to the skin?

Great app and the developer is super responsive to feedback. It was an easy integration of my Apple Music library (takes a few minutes to sync depending on the number of songs). You only pay the $4.99 and thats it. No subscription or add ons, which in today’s age is a breath of fresh air.

Freaking love this. It’s a blast from the past! I can buy the color that I never was able to get. I am able to listen to the music flow that I like to get to see the album artwork as I enjoy it.The app developer has put in a lot of work and has been doing a really good job seeking feedback and changing things as needed! No ads! Honestly, I love doom scrolling this versus doom scrolling anything else on the internet!
