Take one minute to slow down. Guided breathing on iPhone and Apple Watch, with haptic pacing and optional session-based pulse insights.
When your mind is racing, you do not need another thing to manage.
Follow a gentle visual pace on iPhone or haptic guidance on Apple Watch.
iKima gives you a simple place to pause, breathe, and notice how your body responds — on iPhone or Apple Watch.
Start with Belly Breathing, free.
Choose one minute when that is all you have, or stay longer when you need it.
FIND A BREATHING RHYTHM THAT FITS
Premium unlocks four more guided techniques on both devices:
• Physiological Sigh
• Box Breathing
• 4-7-8 Breathing
• Resonance Breathing
Each technique has a short introduction and its own pace, so you can choose what feels right rather than forcing yourself into one routine.
NOTICE WHAT CHANGES — WITHOUT CHASING A SCORE
After an iPhone session, you can optionally take a 20-second fingertip camera pulse estimate before and after practice. Retry it, skip it, or simply breathe — a reading never blocks or interrupts your session.
Apple Watch can guide your practice with haptics and read heart rate through HealthKit while you breathe.
Your Dashboard keeps the result understandable:
• See how heart rate or pulse changed in your latest session
• Clearly see whether a reading came from iPhone camera or Apple Watch
• Review practice history, weekly progress, and a 21-day rhythm
• See plain-language insights from your own practice patterns
• With Premium and Apple Watch data, see today’s HRV and resting heart rate in the context of your personal 30-day range
iKima never averages iPhone-camera and Apple Watch readings together. Missing data is explained, never invented.
UNDERSTAND YOUR APPLE WATCH DATA
When Health data is available, iKima can show heart-rate trends and HRV as SDNN — the HRV measure Apple Watch records in Health. Newer Apple Watch models may also show a separate recovery-focused HRV, so the numbers can differ.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No data sold.
• HealthKit access is read-only
• Camera frames are processed live and never saved
• Health measurements and session history stay on your devices
• Choose whether to share usage analytics during setup, and change your choice anytime in Settings → Your Data
• Analytics never include BPM, HRV values, raw camera signals, or images
• Export or delete your data directly from your iPhone
BUILT ON PUBLISHED RESEARCH
The breathing rhythms and camera-reading approach are explained with citations at sentiralabs.app/learn, including research on structured breathing, slow breathing, and fingertip camera pulse measurement.

Simplicity is the best thing about this app - it helps you focus regularly on breathing exercises during the day & has measurable outcomes/simple reports.Would also be great if there was a way for me to enter the most stressful times of my day. Ex: Weekday mornings between say 8-11am or evenings between 9-10pm. Also could suppress these schedules on Friday or public holidays?

Developer Response
Thank you — you've described exactly what iKima is for: a reading before, one after, and a record of how your body settles over time. If you have an Apple Watch, the same session runs on your wrist with haptic pacing and live heart rate. Happy breathing!
More clarity, more control.
• A redesigned Dashboard separates Today and Trends. See how your latest practice changed your heart rate or pulse, and tap Your Insights for a clearer view of your patterns.
• Premium Apple Watch users can now see today’s HRV and resting heart rate in their personal 30-day range. Camera-based relaxation trends can now include RMSSD changes.
• More control over your data: choose whether to share usage analytics, turn sharing off anytime, export your data, or delete it from this iPhone. Usage analytics are stored in the EU.
• Apple Watch gets a unified teal breathing ring, clearer results, an easier Stop control, and improved Reduce Motion support.
• Better readability across the app, plus refinements to reminders, weekly goals, subscriptions, localized technique names, and Premium restoration.
