LeLau is a free offline AI app for iPhone. It answers your questions with no internet connection: it searches knowledge packs stored on your phone and writes the answer with an AI model that runs on your phone. No account, no ads, no analytics, no subscription. SIX PACKS INCLUDED Survival Guide, Medicine and first aid, Math & Physics, Chemistry, Food and water, and Legal ship inside the app. Pick one when you start and it is ready in seconds, fully offline. Add the others any time. YOUR OWN PACKS Turn PDFs, pasted notes or a Wikipedia topic into private packs on your iPhone. Import, rename, export, share by AirDrop and delete them. Packs are not products: there is no shop, price, paywall or quota. When the material does not cover a question, LeLau says so instead of guessing. CHOOSE YOUR AI Pick the AI that writes your answers, and it runs on this iPhone. Gemma 4 E2B is recommended; Granite 4.0 H 1B and Qwen 3.5 0.8B are smaller; Llama 3.2, LFM 2.5, SmolLM 3, Ministral 3, MiniCPM 5 and Bonsai are there too. LeLau only shows models that fit your iPhone, downloads each once from Hugging Face after you confirm, checks it against its SHA-256 fingerprint, and lets you delete it any time in Manage models. No model yet? LeLau still searches your packs offline and quotes what it finds. SEARCH THAT UNDERSTANDS YOU EmbeddingGemma 2 finds the passage that answers your question, in many languages, and a reranker puts the best one first. Both are built into the app and work offline. LELAU LINK (PREVIEW) Have LM Studio or Ollama on your Mac or PC? LeLau Link uses its bigger models over your Wi-Fi. Your question and the passages your packs found go to your computer; your packs, chats and history never do. When the computer is off, this iPhone answers. ONLINE LOOK-UP, OVER TOR When your packs can't answer, LeLau can look things up. A shortened question, with emails, links, @handles and long numbers removed, goes over Tor to Wikipedia or DuckDuckGo; for weather and prices only a place name, coin or currency pair goes to Open-Meteo, CoinGecko or Frankfurter. Setup explains this on its own screen with the switch on; turn it off there or any time in Settings > Privacy. Look-ups use Tor and fail closed instead of falling back to a direct connection. Model downloads go directly to Hugging Face by default, or through Tor if you choose that in Settings > Manage models. Tor hides your IP from the destination in ordinary operation, but it cannot guarantee anonymity, unlinkability, or resistance to traffic correlation. LeLau uses no third-party AI service. WIDGETS, SIRI AND SHARE Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets open LeLau to a question. Say "Hey Siri, ask LeLau", or select text in any app and choose Ask LeLau from the Share sheet. DEVICE-AWARE BY DESIGN LeLau watches iOS thermal, memory, Low Power Mode and app-lifecycle signals and paces generation, search, indexing and downloads, so heavy work slows or pauses under pressure. LeLau is not a substitute for a doctor or emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Your AI should tell you what runs, where it runs, what is stored, and when a request leaves the device. LeLau puts those facts in the interface.

Get one from the card in Chat or in Settings > Manage models. - Without a model, LeLau quotes the passages your packs found. - New built-in search finds the right passage more often, in many languages. - Model downloads go directly to Hugging Face and are faster. Prefer Tor? Choose Through Tor in Settings > Manage models. - Delete any model, Qwen included. - LeLau opens faster, and search upgrades continue where they stopped.
