Your Apple Health data, answered on your iPhone and handed to the AI agent you already use.
MetricBridge does two things. It answers plain-language questions about your Apple Health data entirely on the device, and it exports 190 metrics as clean JSON to a destination you choose, so your own AI agent can read your real numbers.
ASK YOUR DATA
Type "how's my resting heart rate trending this week" and get an answer built from your own history.
• Every figure is computed by ordinary code inside the app, not guessed by a model
• The app shows the metric, the date range and how many days of data it used, so you can check the work
• Runs on your iPhone. The question, the data and the answer never leave the device
• An optional on-device model can phrase answers more naturally. It only restates numbers the app already computed, and can never state a figure the app did not compute
• Weekly Brief: a short recap of your week, written on device
IT KNOWS ITS LIMITS
Ask something clinical, like "should I stop taking my statin", and it declines, then offers to show you the data to bring to that conversation. It reports what you recorded. It does not interpret it.
190 METRICS AS CLEAN JSON
Activity, heart, HRV, mobility, respiratory, body, sleep, hearing and nutrition, plus workouts and Age. Written as structured JSON to a destination you pick:
• Your iCloud Drive
• A folder on your device
• Your own local network over HTTP or WebSocket
• Any webhook URL you trust
Background auto-export refreshes the file when new health data arrives, so your agent's context does not go stale. Every delivery is token-authenticated, and the in-app history shows exactly what was sent, when, and whether it succeeded.
A READ-ONLY MCP SERVER
MetricBridge ships a zero-dependency, open-source MCP server that you install on your own computer. It gives any MCP client 14 read-only tools:
get_mcp_status · list_metrics · get_health_metrics · get_trends · compare_periods · get_structured_export · get_intraday · query_health_data · list_events · get_profile · get_workouts · get_sleep_sessions · get_cycle_context · correlate_metrics
Ask your assistant to compare your HRV this week against last week and it calls the tools, then answers from your real numbers. No dashboard to build, no files to wrangle. Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, opencode and any other MCP client. Your agent reads only after you pair it with a code from the app, and you can regenerate that code whenever you want.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Read-only. The app reads Apple Health and never writes to it or changes it
• No account, no sign-in, and no ads inside the app. Your health data is never used for advertising
• No third-party AI service is involved, and no data reaches a server we operate
• Reproductive health, sexual activity and alcohol stay excluded unless you turn them on

See what your agents can read. A new "What agents can see" screen in Settings lists, in plain words, everything an AI agent connected through the MCP server can read from your exports: daily values, workout summaries, sleep sessions, the hourly window, events and profile fields you entered, and time zone changes. Cycle starts are included only when sensitive categories are on. The screen also lists what is never included: nothing is written to Apple Health, and there are no workout routes or locations, no medication records from Apple Health, no raw samples, and no health data sent to us. It shows whether your pairing code is on, and you can replace or remove the code right there. Before replacing it, the app asks you to confirm and tells you the old code will stop working.
Your shorter passphrase still opens your exports. If you set an export passphrase of 8 to 11 characters in version 1.10, you can enter it again, for example on a restored or new iPhone, to open those encrypted exports. The app then asks you to change it to a passphrase of 12 or more characters. A short passphrase never replaces a stronger one already on your iPhone.
Sensitive categories stay off when you turn them off. Turning off sensitive categories now also removes them from the hourly file, and an export that was already running when you switched them off can no longer write them back. Changes to pairing and removing sensitive data never move your health data into iCloud if you have not turned on iCloud export.
Your health summary in Shortcuts and Siri. A new "Get Health Summary" action in the Shortcuts app gives you today's sleep, steps, active energy, resting heart rate and heart rate variability as plain text, ready for your own shortcuts. Or just ask Siri: "Get my health summary from MetricBridge". It works only while your iPhone is unlocked, and nothing leaves your phone unless your own shortcut sends it.
Your server token stays in the Keychain. If you send exports to a webhook, its token is now kept only in your iPhone's Keychain, no longer in the app's settings file. While the Keychain cannot be read, for example right after a restart, nothing is sent without the token and the app shows "Unlock your iPhone so MetricBridge can read your server token". The token moves to a new iPhone with an encrypted backup. If it ever goes missing there, you will see "Enter your server token again in Settings".
Your trial and purchase stay as they are. After a restart, iOS can open the app before your iPhone is first unlocked, when the Keychain cannot be read yet. That can no longer restart your free trial or change your purchase.
