New Water theme: see-through Water blocks that shift color as the board advances and freeze solid into ice, a Water Orb ball, a Water Splash trail and a flowing Waterfall background, all unlocked with stars. New background: Tide Pool, a shallow stream with flowing light and raindrops that changes with the board. New: Danger Portal. When blocks reach the bottom row, a portal may open that swallows a block and sends your balls back in from the top. Clearer danger warning: blocks in the bottom row glow red, and a warning lights up along the floor, easy to see on every background. New haptics when blocks reach the bottom row and at game over, with a setting to turn them off. Uses less battery and runs cooler, plus a new Battery Saver setting. Achievement progress now saves to your profile and syncs through iCloud. Bug fixes, including the Molten Core background missing from shared boards.

New: Stars! Clear every block off the screen to earn a star, then spend stars on exclusive star-only unlocks in the Theme shop. New: Lava theme. Molten Lava blocks that glow violet next to dark blocks, a Lava Orb ball, a Lava Drip trail and an erupting Volcano background with drifting smoke, all unlocked with stars. New backgrounds: Molten Core (rivers of lava that change with the board), plus three still scenes: Spiral Galaxy, Coral Reef and Mountain Sunset. New balls: Planet Earth and Prism Orb. New: Unlockable Starting Levels. Reach higher rounds enough times and unlock the ability to start your next game there instead of at level 1. You start with the balls and powerups you'd realistically have by then. Tracked separately for Standard and Chill mode. New: Screen Cleared celebration whenever you wipe the board. New: Share your board. Tap Share on the game-over screen or in the pause menu, or press and hold outside the box to peek at the board behind it. Lockpicks charge faster (15 unlocks instead of 20) and can bank up to 2 charges at once. The ball that unlocks a locked block now deals its damage too, and unlocked blocks show an open padlock. Freeze can now be used mid-round, even while balls are in flight. Powerful hits no longer waste damage: a ball that destroys a block with power to spare carries straight through to the next block. Dark blocks cleared by a Light block now sparkle and can never turn dark again. Dark block growth is also capped so it can't outpace what a full volley can deal. Refreshed round header. Tap any stat pill to cycle through more info, like daily and weekly best, total ball damage, blocks destroyed, stars and points earned this game. Each pill remembers its choice per profile. Press and hold the Ice, Smash or Lockpicks buttons to see what they do. The recall button now appears after 15 seconds instead of 30. Smash pickups now appear every 50 rounds, starting at round 50. Theme shop: sorted by price, prices stay visible after unlocking, and trail previews are now live, using your selected ball. Backgrounds look better on iPad. Livelier menus with a drifting color wash, a live Fire Buff preview in How to Play, and Release Notes in Settings. Bug fixes, including a way to replay a round's damage by closing the app mid-turn, duplicate powerup pickups appearing on the board, accidental launches near the top buttons, guide popups reappearing after being swiped away, the ball speed toggle not being remembered, extra Freezes after resuming a game, Freeze and Re-wind rounds throwing off the round number, block HP and ball pickups, and the header overlapping the board on iPhone SE. New Background: Bioluminescent Depths — dive into a glowing deep-sea scene with drifting jellyfish, rising bubbles, and swimming fish. Two more new backgrounds — Laser Grid and Rainstorm, complete with lightning, clouds, and snow during Freeze. New Block: Light Block — a golden, twinkling block appears when Dark blocks take over the board. Destroy it to clear them out. Reworked Fire Buff — fire balls now burn with real flame effects, and fire buffs now correctly persist if you exit and resume mid-round. New hit & destroy effects — every block style now has its own unique particle effects when you hit or destroy it, plus special effects for Dark and frozen blocks. Bug fixes, including corrected Re-wind block info text. Now supports iOS 16 and up.
