YOUR SAVED BEACHES, OFFLINE • Saved beaches keep their last report on the device, so one you care about still opens with no signal — stamped with when it was read, never presented as live. A CLEARER BEACH PAGE • The eight readings now sit in reading order — air beside water, wind beside waves — two columns on iPhone, four on iPad, so each has room to breathe. • Humidity joins the band. • "About This Beach", "Plan Your Visit" and "The Basics" carry proper headings, so the page reads as sections rather than one long column. HONEST NUMBERS • Every temperature carries its unit. 26° is a warm sea in Celsius and a dangerous one in Fahrenheit, and the app no longer leaves that to guesswork — including on the widget, the watch, and shared cards, which previously ignored your Celsius setting. • UV says which reading it is showing — "UV now · peaks 9" when we have both — and never labels a current reading as the day's peak. • Conditions are stamped "As of" the time the instruments actually read, not when we fetched. If a reading is more than two hours old, the page says so. FIXES • Fixed a crash that could end a background conditions check. • Back now leaves a beach page on the first press. • The app recovers instead of giving up when the server is briefly busy at launch.

TIDES, CHARTED • Every beach page now has a tide chart — the day's tide drawn as a smooth curve with the next high and low marked and a "now" pin at the current level, plus whether the tide is rising or falling. KNOW YOUR FLAG • Tap the beach-safety flag to see why it's flying and what to do — the reason and the recommended action, not just a color. A FULLER FORECAST • A 7-day extended forecast on every beach page: highs and lows, conditions, and rain chance. • "The Next Few Hours" now sits right under the current conditions, with the tide leading into the multi-day outlook. CLEARER READINGS • Water and air temperatures now show °F or °C, so the unit is never a guess. • A tidier beach page — a cleaner sunrise & sunset line and a smoother top-to-bottom flow. A CLEARER SAFETY READ • The high-hazard label reads "Hazardous" everywhere — the same plain-English read on iPhone, Apple Watch, and widgets. • Combined flags (like red plus dangerous marine life) now show their true severity instead of a milder fallback.
