Curious where a link goes? Press and hold it. • Hold any link in an article for a quick look at where it leads, in your chosen theme. Tap the card to go there, or save the article for later without leaving the one you're reading now. • Better VoiceOver support. Let me know if there are improvements I can make on this front. Bug Fixes: • Your Lore theme now stays put whether your device is in Light or Dark mode. Chalking this bug up to living in Dark mode, preparing for spooky season.

Pictures are back. Wikipedia moved its images to a new address without telling Lore (the nerve!), so tapping a photo to view it larger mostly got you "Image unavailable". Lore has the new address now. As a bonus, maps, flags and diagrams open full screen too, which, between us, they never actually did before. Go nuts, vexillologists.

As always, your kind words and suggestions are appreciated! The article now comes first, even when the summary box runs long. • The title bar steps aside as you read, leaving just the buttons over the article. Liked having a title bar always visible? Turn it back on in Settings. • Wikipedia's summary boxes frequently run long: lists like the cast and crew of a TV show can push the article pretty far down the page. In cases like these, the summary box now opens as a short preview, and you can tap Show More to read the rest. • Small formatting fixes.

Lore Version 4 adds several changes, large and small: Lore now has a Featured Article widget for your Home Screen. • Two sizes: Small has the title and a line or two, while Medium has the article's full opening • A new article every day; tap it to open in Lore • The widget uses your chosen Lore theme A new icon for Lore, built with iOS 27's new look for Liquid Glass. Lore now appears in more share sheets, such as the official Wikipedia app and Safari. • Tap the Share button in apps and choose Lore

Articles you save now stay with you, even with no connection at all. • Save Article lives in the toolbar's new actions button, alongside Share • Saved articles gather under the bookmark on the search page, up to 50 • A saved article opens in full offline, images and all A fresh coat of Liquid Glass has been applied to the article view: the article now slips under the title bar instead of stopping at it. • The title bar is glass, tinted with your theme. As you scroll, text blurs away beneath it instead of vanishing behind a solid bar • In Settings, there's an option to go back to the old style, if you prefer • Adjusted the animation for the Contents button • Bugs squashed

Lore now runs on iPad. • iPad support, with the reading column kept to a comfortable width instead of stretching across the screen • Quote boxes now follow your chosen theme instead of showing stark white • Smoother swipe back from an article to the search page

• New on the home screen: Today's Featured Article, Wikipedia's hand-picked daily read. • More reliable navigation and back-swipe, with your scroll position remembered as you move between articles. • Polish and stability fixes throughout.

A better reading experience: • Article titles now open the page in full, wrapping gracefully instead of truncating • The landing page greets you with a moment from this day in history • Articles show their title instantly while loading • Reading history now shows dates • Fixed sideways scrolling in articles with long equations or digit runs
