Silo Read turns a PDF, EPUB, or Word document on your iPhone or iPad into a chaptered .m4b audiobook you save to Files, with a sentence-by-sentence reader for everything in between.
FROM FILE TO TEXT
* PDF, EPUB, DOCX, PPTX, RTF, saved web pages, plain text, text-bearing DAISY books, and photos or scans of printed pages, recognized on device.
* Search every sentence of every document you have imported, with each match shown in context.
SHAPE THE BOOK
* Rename, split, merge, reorder, include, or skip chapters without touching the imported original.
* Render one chapter, retry one that failed, and re-render only what you changed.
ASSEMBLE THE M4B
* Export one .m4b with real chapter markers through Files. Silo Read reports an export as finished only after Files accepts it.
* Listen first: each sentence is highlighted as it is spoken, with 0.5x to 3x speed, a sleep timer, lock-screen controls, and your place saved across launches.
* Import an MP3, M4A, or M4B audiobook you already own and pick up where you stopped.
READING COMFORT
* Typeface, text size from 14 to 32, line spacing, letter spacing, page width, and a mode that dims everything except the sentence being read.
NARRATORS
* Neural English reading voices are included, with no download. Apple system voices cover other languages.

A new library now leads with a short sample that opens and starts reading aloud right away. Scans in French, German, and other languages are recognized in their own language, and sentences that begin with an accented capital such as É or Ü are no longer run together with the sentence before them.
