MAKE THE LEASE YOURS
Set the rent, deposit, dates, pets, utilities, and other terms in plain words. TenantBinder builds the clauses into a lease you can preview and customize. Start with ready-made terms instead of a blank document.
START WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
Choose the state or country where the home is located. Get relevant questions, guidance based on supported rental-law requirements, and prompts for required information and documents before you send.
Supported jurisdiction coverage includes all 50 US states and DC; England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland; Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Coverage varies by location and tenancy type. Local rules and unusual situations may need separate review.
AGREE BEFORE YOU SIGN
Your tenant can read the agreement in the app or in a browser, comment on a term, request a change, or give their approval. Discussions stay with the agreement, and changes are recorded as versions. With multiple tenants, each person reviews and signs.
SIGN WITHOUT PRINTING
Both sides verify by email and text message, draw their initials and signature, and sign on their phones. Signing is tied to the agreed document version. Both sides can save their signed copy.
KEEP THE PAPERWORK TOGETHER
Find the signed lease, disclosures, move-in documents, photos, and requested files in a shared document binder. Track scheduled rent and payment confirmations, and see who changed what and when. Payment records track what the parties report and confirm; TenantBinder does not collect rent or move money.

Prepare an agreement for a house, apartment, or room. Tenants can join, review, request changes, and sign without paying. Agents can prepare leases for their landlords and add their own logo and contact stamp.

GET STARTED
Creating, editing, and previewing an agreement is free. A subscription is required to send an agreement, print or share it, and upload files to the binder as a landlord or agent. Managing more than one live agreement you create requires the multi-property plan. Tenants are never asked to pay. Anyone who has signed can save their signed copy without an active subscription. Ongoing shared access and syncing depend on an active subscription for the agreement.
