Combinations are now fully editable, live on your Kronos. COMBINATION EDITOR Open any combination from the Prog/Combi browser and the whole window becomes a 16-timbre mixing desk: - One strip per timbre: the program it plays by name, Internal / External / Off status, Play/Mute, Solo, a pan knob, a volume fader and its MIDI channel. - Solo silences the other timbres on the instrument so you can hear one part alone, and never touches your stored Mute settings. - An activity meter on every strip that lights as notes reach that timbre, following velocity, the fader and the timbre's zones. - An 88-note keyboard along the bottom: drag the ends of a timbre's zone to set its key range, drag the bar below for its velocity range, and watch the keys light as you play. - Everything a timbre needs: assign its program from the same browser, then set volume, pan, sends, transpose, detune, bend, delay, oscillator settings, and the full per-timbre MIDI filter and track EQ. - The combi's own Vector joystick and envelope, controller assignments and scale, each on their own Common page. - The full effect chain: the same 12 insert, two master and two total effect editor from the sound editor, now for the combination. Effect parameters and on/off move the Kronos in real time. - A guarded Write stores the whole combination to a USER slot, verifies the instrument received it byte for byte, then the Kronos switches to that slot, exactly like storing on the unit itself. The header always shows unsaved edits, and Revert restores what is on the instrument. ALSO NEW - Light theme. A sun/moon button in the top bar switches the editor between dark and light. Dark stays the default. - A wider browser. The Prog/Combi browser grows with the screen, so a whole bank fits without scrolling on iPad, with an X to close. - Combination .syx files now open in the combination editor. - A 4x4 set-list view. A List / 4x4 switch shows a set list's slots as fixed blocks of 16, like paging through it on the Kronos. The full-width list stays the default. - Set list names are shown in full on their tiles, no longer clipped. Requires a Korg Kronos 3 connected over USB or network MIDI.

The biggest update yet: two full new editors, both live on your Kronos. EFFECTS EDITOR Tap FX in the top bar and the whole window becomes the loaded program's effect chain. All 16 slots are on screen at once (the 12 insert effects, two master and two total effects, plus a Common tile), each with its name, an on/off light and its chain links. Move any effect parameter and the Kronos responds instantly. Pick a different effect for a slot and it changes on the unit live, opened at the new effect's defaults and ready to tweak. Build and audition a whole chain by ear, with no page diving on the panel. SET-LIST EDITOR Open any set list and switch its tab from Play to Edit to build and rearrange a whole show from your iPad or iPhone: - Put any program, combination or song in any slot. The Prog/Combi browser opens as a picker, with all its banks, search and category filters. - Rearrange by dragging a slot onto another, or use Cut, Copy, Paste and Insert, the same operations as the Kronos's own Edit page. - Every slot detail on one screen: name, the 16 panel colours, label size, volume, hold time, transpose, and the full 512-character comment. - The 9-band set-list EQ, live on faders, moving the Kronos in real time as you drag, with input trim and bypass. - A live Tempo slider that sets the instrument's tempo on the fly during a performance. - One guarded Write saves the whole set list to any of the 128 slots, verifies the instrument received it byte for byte, then commits it to permanent memory. The footer always shows what is unsaved, and leaving with unsaved changes asks first. - Save and load complete set lists as .syx files, for backups or for moving a show between machines.
