Point your camera and see the world like your baby: super blurry at birth, with colors showing up over the first months. Just for fun, never medical. Ever wondered what your baby actually sees? Point your camera at your face, the dog or the living room and find out. Baby View is a playful baby-vision camera: the world starts out super blurry and soft, then gets sharper and fills with color as your baby grows. How it works Open the camera, pick an age and the live filter changes blur, contrast, color and edge softness to match that stage of the first year. It is a fun, illustrative simulator inspired by infant sight milestones, not a measurement of your own baby's eyes. Fun facts to play with - Newborns see best at about 8 to 12 inches away. Get close and say hi. - In lab tests, red is the first color most newborns can tell apart from gray. Other colors show up over the first few months. - Jump from newborn to 12 months and watch the room get sharper. - Milestone cards for each stage, including 3 and 9 months. - Snap a baby's-eye photo and send it to the grandparents. Included - Live baby-vision camera - Newborn, 3-month and 12-month presets - Milestone cards for those three ages - Shareable photos with a light Baby View watermark Baby View Pro (optional in-app purchase) Pay once. No subscription. - Slide through every week from 0 to 52 - Clean photos without the watermark - All 8 milestone cards Private by design The camera effect runs on your phone. Baby View does not upload camera frames, record video, ask for an account, use ad tracking, or ask for access to your photos, contacts, microphone or location. A photo is created only when you tap Share photo. Anonymous usage stats, like how often photos are shared, help us improve the app. They never include camera images and aren't linked to you. Just for fun Baby View is an illustrative simulator for curiosity and play. It is not a medical, diagnostic, vision-testing or screening tool, and it cannot tell you anything about your child's eyes. Every baby develops at their own pace, and vision keeps developing for years after the first birthday. If you have any concern about your baby's vision, talk to your pediatrician.
