The radar now moves. Open the map and watch the last 50 minutes of storm motion, so you can tell whether a storm is heading for your beach or already on its way out. A small dial shows where you are in the loop. Two new guides join Settings: Lightning at the beach, with a live list of beaches that have storms nearby right now, and Manatee season, with live water temperatures from NOAA stations. If location is off for Coasti, the map's locate button now explains how to turn it back on. The map also always fits the screen, with no scrolling.

Red tide, built in. Check statewide status any time from Settings, and when red tide is detected near a beach we cover, a notice appears at the top of Home. The app now opens in light mode. Pick Light or Dark in Settings. New Guides in Settings explain what beach flags mean and what red tide readings mean. Beach Pulse shows reported flag colors on a small pennant, and beach pages got cleaner cards and many small fixes.

Marine weather alerts now show what the statement actually says. When the National Weather Service issues a marine statement, you get the radar observation and the safety guidance instead of the header text. Text across the app renders in Coasti's own typeface again, and tap targets are bigger on the day toggle, filter chips, the share and account buttons, and the map's locate button. The radar caption no longer cuts off, and error messages now say what happened and what to do next.

Clearer rip current safety guidance: when the National Weather Service issues a rip current alert, Coasti now tells you to stay out of the surf. Tropical storm and hurricane tracking: when a storm threatens the coast, the map automatically shows the forecast cone and track.

Beach alerts got smarter: fewer, better notifications — only when it matters, like a red flag or lightning at your beach. Plus an easier way to turn push on if you missed the prompt. Sign-in is smoother, and the map now shows your location.

Coasti now watches the radar for you. Storm detection can flip a beach's answer the moment heavy cells or lightning threaten, with alerts for your saved beaches. The new tide chart shows heights, times, and negative low tides, and follows the Today and Tomorrow toggle. Tapping a notification now opens the right beach, beach links from Mail and Messages open straight in the app, and sharing works properly. Clearer advice wording throughout, plus many fixes and polish.
