Smear is the trick-taking card game your family argued about at the kitchen table — bids, trump, a joker that's always up to something — rebuilt for your phone, with the people you actually want to play with.
Two teams of two. Seven cards each. Bid one to six, and if you win the bid you call trump — but now your team has to earn what you promised, and the other side is delighted to stop you.
HOW A HAND PLAYS • Bid against the table, winner calls trump • Ditch your junk — discard and draw back to seven • Take tricks: the joker is always trump, and watch for the other jack of trump's color — it's trump too • Six points on the line every hand: High, Low, Jack, Off-Jack, Joker, and Game. Make your bid and keep them; fall short and go set • First team to 21 that's ahead wins
PLAY WITH REAL PEOPLE • Add friends with a six-letter code — no contacts access, no accounts to hunt down • Invite friends straight to your table; they get a push and land in your lobby • A notification tells you when it's your turn, so games keep moving even when everyone's busy
OR DON'T WAIT FOR ANYONE • Fill any empty seat with a bot — easy, medium, or hard • Life happens: leave mid-game and a bot quietly holds your seat so nobody's night is ruined. Come back and pick up your other games from the lobby

Tap any empty seat to fill it. Add a bot, or invite a friend straight to that seat — we'll hold it for them while they decide. Since partners sit across from each other, you finally get to choose who's on your team.
Smoother when you come and go.
Games you leave and rejoin now pick up cleanly. Cards you play stay played, and a hand that catches up after a reconnect plays out at normal speed instead of jumping ahead.
