When your penguin says something is waiting, it's there the moment you open the app. Before, a notification could arrive and Home would still look empty until you pulled down to refresh. What your person sent was never lost — the app just wasn't showing it to you. That's fixed. Pockets and pebbles now also arrive while the app is already open, instead of waiting quietly until the next time you came back to it.

Nothing gets missed anymore. • Love that arrives late at night no longer disappears at midnight — anything your person sent stays waiting until you've actually seen it, marked "New". • Write a message: send your person real words, not just a tap. Your penguin carries it over and keeps it forever. • Your penguin now reads your messages into its weekly letters. • A badge on the app icon when something's waiting for you. • Tell the penguin your name (Settings > Us) so your letters say your names instead of "Penguin One". • The penguin is more alive — it swoons over what's waiting, waddles off when you send something, and keeps you company while you wait.

A gentler, warmer nest. • A brand-new look — the whole app now glows like an aurora over dark ice, with hand-drawn artwork and icons throughout. • Your penguin has arrived — the little illustrated penguin now greets you across the app. • A floating dock makes it quicker to move between your Home, Jar, Nest, and Letters — with one button to send love from anywhere. • Fixed: your anniversary date now shows exactly the day you picked. • Fixed: text no longer gets cut off on the AI letters screen.
