This update is mostly things you asked for. You can now mark a book finished the moment you actually finish it, so your club can see who is done instead of guessing from a chapter number. Links in chat are finally links, so you can tap one instead of selecting and copying the text by hand, and you can react to any message by pressing and holding it. The Library tab has been reorganised around what it is really for: voting now sits at the top, where two people told us they couldn't find it, and books your club has already read are tucked together at the bottom instead of padding out every genre. Kali has learned some manners, too. She no longer replies to everything with a question mark in it, she waits longer before nudging a quiet club, and when you ask her for venue ideas a second time you get new places rather than the same ones over again. You can also tell her what you're after, like somewhere quiet or outdoor seating, and only you see what you typed. We've also fixed a bug where a book could stay marked Read on your shelf after your club picked it back up.

A short walkthrough now runs the first time you open Folio, and it covers what you actually need: how to join and vote if you're a member, or how to set the book, invite people, and use Kali if you run the club. Replay it any time from Account. • Notes are now organised by book. Open Notes and pick from what you're reading, whether it's a book you're reading on your own or one you're reading with a club. • Club owners and managers can now rename their club. Look under the Club tab. • Starting a book no longer needs a vote. Pick any suggestion and tap "Start reading" to make it the club's current read. • You can now select and copy text from messages, including anything Kali suggests. • Fixed a dead end where a club that had finished its book, with nothing new suggested, had no way to choose what to read next. • Stronger passwords when you create an account or reset one: at least 10 characters, with upper and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol. Passwords you already use keep working.

• Your notes are private. Only you can see what you write, and no one else in the club can. • Notes are easier to reach. The button now lives on your club's Overview tab, and it stays there whether or not the club has a current read. • Didn't get your confirmation email? You can now resend it from the sign-in screen.
