Use Locily immediately without creating an account. Browse All Events, Spotlight, the map and event details, save events locally, receive local reminders, and create private invite-only events as an anonymous user. Profiles remain optional and unlock account and social features. This update also improves Live & Today discovery, first-launch location and notification onboarding, media handling, and overall reliability.

Meet Spotlight: swipe through up to nine photo-led events happening live or soon, ranked from promoted and trending picks to personalized nearby recommendations. Events preload for smooth browsing, with clear Live, Today and upcoming timing and one-tap access to full details. This update also improves the switch between Spotlight and All Events, event-card layout, image loading, duplicate handling and overall performance.

Personal events are now private to you and the people you invite or share them with through groups. Accept an event invitation to add it to your feed and map. Optional nearby event alerts can let you know when an ongoing event is within 250 metres, even while your phone is locked. Enable them from the introduction prompt or Notifications settings. Location and notification permissions are required; delivery timing may vary. We also improved event interactions, feed performance and private event photo handling.

Event sharing is now smoother and more reliable. Shared links open correctly in the browser and the app, share messages are cleaner, and it is easier to return to Locily after opening an event link. We also improved deep-link and QR handling.
