Vigil: Can't Sleep at Night
Insomnia & midnight companion
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Awake at 3am, overthinking, feeling alone? Thousands of people are awake with you right now. Vigil opens at midnight — anonymous, quiet, always there.
It's 3am and you can't sleep.
Maybe it's the interview tomorrow. Maybe it's the baby. Maybe it's grief,
or a racing mind, or no reason at all. Whatever it is, the worst part is
always the same — it feels like you're the only person awake in the
world.
You're not. Vigil proves it.
Vigil is a quiet, anonymous space that opens only between midnight and
5am. When you enter, the first thing you see is a single glowing number:
how many people are awake with you, right now, all over the world.
Their thoughts drift past your screen like fireflies — one honest
sentence each. "Can't stop thinking about my dad." "Night shift, hour
six." "The house is finally quiet and so is nobody in my head."
You can release one thought of your own each night. You can tap a
stranger's firefly to send them a Pulse — a single soft heartbeat on
their phone that simply says: someone is with you.
No profiles. No followers. No chat. No history. At 5am the room
brightens, every thought dissolves, and the door locks until the next
midnight.
Nothing to perform. Nothing to keep up with. Just the honest company of
the other night people.
WHO VIGIL IS FOR
— Anyone lying awake, overthinking, feeling lonely at night
— New parents, night shift workers, students before exams
— Anyone who wants to vent anonymously without judgment
— Anyone who's tired of apps that want their daytime, not their 3am
DESIGNED FOR 3AM
— Deep, OLED-dark interface that never stings tired eyes
— Slow, gentle motion built to lower your heart rate, not spike it
— A single warm haptic — the Pulse — crafted to feel like a hand on the
shoulder
— Completely anonymous, nothing stored, nothing searchable
A GENTLE NOTE
Vigil is company, not care. If your nights feel heavier than loneliness,
the moon icon inside connects you to free support and crisis lines in
your region — one tap, any time.
The door opens at midnight.
