Quarantièmes

Lost at sea, in real time

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

A lone sailor is texting you from a dismasted boat. Answer in real time — messages arrive even when the app is closed. Every choice counts. Somewhere in the Southern Ocean, a wrong number reaches you. It's Elena — alone, dismasted, taking on water, and you're the only line she has left. QUARANTIÈMES is a real-time interactive story told entirely through messages. Elena writes to you as her situation unfolds, hour by hour. You don't control her directly — you reply, you advise, you decide what to believe. And you wait, because the sea keeps its own time. Notifications bring her voice back even when the app is closed, so the story lives alongside your day. Your choices shape her decisions, her trust, and how the night ends. There is no single path and no guaranteed rescue — only the weight of what you told her to do. • A slow-burn survival story, message after message • Real time: waits, silences, and messages delivered in the background • Multiple endings driven by your choices • Rewind to a past decision and try another way • No account, no ads, no data collected — everything stays on your device • Available in 8 languages Free to play, start to finish.
