KEY FEATURES
Guided Opening Lessons
Replay real opening lines move by move on an interactive board. Coaching notes explain the idea behind each move, so you understand what you are playing, not just memorizing.
Branching Route Map
Follow a route through each opening system that splits when your opponent makes a real decision. You train for what actually happens over the board, not imaginary variations.
Suggested-Move Hints
If you get stuck, a hint points you toward the right concept without dumping the whole line. Learn to choose the right move under pressure.
Spaced Repetition Review
Review learned lines right before you forget them. This keeps opening knowledge fresh over time, so theory sticks beyond a single session.
Stars, XP, and Streaks
Earn stars for accuracy and XP for every completed line. Build a daily streak that keeps your repertoire growing.
Custom Board Themes
Use a Gambix-specific board and piece style with clear highlights for checks, the last move, and hint guidance.
No Account Required
Start drilling immediately. No sign-up. No setup. Just open the app and begin.
WHY GAMBIX
Openings often decide the first 10-15 moves of every game. Most club players learn the hard way: by losing in the same spot again and again. Gambix turns master-level theory into short, guided reps you can keep doing. Unlike a database or a book, everything is built for practice, so the moves become instinct.
PERFECT FOR
Club players around 800-1800 Elo who want a real opening repertoire
Anyone stuck losing the same way in the opening
Players building White or Black repertoires from scratch
Tournament players who need sharp, reliable preparation
Anyone who wants a 5-minute daily habit that improves results
