- Better support for French ID cards. French national ID cards now read reliably with the default settings. You no longer need to turn off Extended length. - Full date of birth for Singapore passports. Singapore passports store only the last two digits of the birth year, so the app used to show two possible ages. It now works out the full year from the NRIC stored in the passport and shows the complete date of birth and a single age, with a note explaining where the year came from. - See how a document's signature was verified. Tap the data verification row in the Security section to see the certificates that signed the document's data, and whether that check succeeded, failed or wasn't performed. - More accurate chip checks for saved scans. Documents you scanned with this app keep their full chip authentication result when you reopen them from history. - Clearer results for imported documents. If an imported document's chip was checked when it was originally scanned, the app now says "Original Chip Not Confirmed" instead of suggesting the document has no clone protection. Scan the document directly to confirm it has the original chip. - Wider document compatibility. Improvements to the secure connection process (PACE) work with more passports and ID cards. The app now falls back to the older access method (BAC) when a document's preferred method isn't supported. - Updated trusted certificates. The list of certificates used to verify documents from issuing countries is now newer.
