nobody looks at the floor. it's just there, the same under every step. until one day it isn't, and you start paying attention again. sixty-eight new levels, 269 to 336, each standing on a floor of its own. stairs, islands, a key, a rocket. a few of them move. the wall was always the story. now the ground has something to say.

the best part of the arcade was the quiet click before the ball dropped. we tidied the level map, steadied the sound, and let each achievement have its own moment. one more try is waiting.

a guitar sounds better the longer it's played. a path gets smoother with every walk. an old arcade cabinet still gets its buttons cleaned. nothing great stays the same. it just keeps getting a little better. so we tightened a few bolts this time. smoother play, cleaner screens same game you know. just better.

a good letter is folded twice. you carry it small, and it opens into something bigger. some things are made to unfold. arkanoid now plays on iPhone Duo. closed, it fits in one hand. open it, and the wall opens with it. it fills the iPad too, edge to edge. and past level 168, a hundred new pictures are waiting to be broken. open it up.

a mosaic is only small squares until you step back. we drew a hundred pictures out of bricks. levels 169 to 268 are waiting.

somewhere an arcade is closing for the night. the screens go dark one by one, but the high score stays lit. we tidied the place a little. the end of a level breathes now. the shop shows one paddle at a time. one more coin. one more try.

every wall looks finished until something hits it. the old arcades knew this. you'd walk up, drop in a coin, and the last screen was never really the last. brikoid used to end at level 155. it doesn't anymore. thirteen new levels are waiting past the old finish line. if you'd cleared everything, level 156 is next. and your coins go further now. the bigger packs cost less than they did. see you at 168. — the brikoid team

You've broken me a thousand times. I kept count. Now there are lots of achievements hidden in my walls, like little love letters left in the mortar for you. Some come with your first bounce. Others wait for the nights you won't let the last one of me stand. Each one holds coins you can claim whenever you're ready and glows in Game Center for the world to see. Come find them.
