Insurers ask for that list at the worst possible moment, and almost nobody has one — because building it by hand means typing three hundred items at ninety seconds each. Asset Logging is built to make that list something you finish.
POINT THE CAMERA INSTEAD OF TYPING
Scan a barcode and the make, model and name fill themselves in. Photograph a serial plate and the serial is read off it — including the characters that are easy to misread, which you correct with one tap. No label at all, like a sofa or a painting? Photograph the object and get a suggested name, make and category back.
A RECORD THAT PAYS OUT
A list of names is not a claim. Asset Logging produces the artifact an adjuster actually accepts: one PDF per item with photographs, serial number, receipt and purchase date. Export your whole inventory room by room, or as a spreadsheet your accountant or an executor can work in.
It also tracks the number people forget. Insurers pay actual cash value; most of us assume replacement cost. Seeing both, side by side, is the moment you find out whether you are underinsured.

YOUR INVENTORY STAYS YOURS
Everything lives on your phone, in a database only your phone can read. Backups are encrypted before they leave the device and go to your own iCloud — we cannot read them and neither can Apple. There is no server holding your belongings, because we never built one. Cloud scanning is opt-in for each photo and can be switched off entirely.

It renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in Settings.
