Bluebook renewal dates in Nepal are not what your book says. Sawari works out the real deadline and reminds you before the fine starts.
Sawari tells you the real date you must renew your vehicle bluebook by - which is often NOT the date printed in your book.
Get a reminder before your bluebook renewal, driving licence, insurance and next service fall due, so you never pay a late fine again.
WHY THE DATE IN YOUR BLUEBOOK CAN BE A TRAP
In Nepal you normally get a 90-day grace period after the renewal date printed on the last page of your bluebook. But that grace does NOT apply if your renewal date falls in Chaitra, Baisakh, Jestha or Ashar. For those months the tax must be paid within Chaitra of the same fiscal year - which is EARLIER than the date printed in your own book.
An owner reading "Jestha 12" and counting 90 days thinks they have until Bhadra. They are already late, and the fine is real. Sawari does this counting for you and tells you plainly when the grace does not apply.
WHAT SAWARI TRACKS
- Bluebook renewal - the effective deadline, in Bikram Sambat, for every vehicle
- Driving licence expiry
- Vehicle insurance expiry
- Servicing - by distance and by time, from your last service and odometer
Add a motorcycle, scooter, car, jeep, van, tempo, e-rickshaw or EV. A household with several vehicles sees every deadline in one list, ordered by which one to handle first.
REMINDERS THAT REACH YOU
- Choose how far ahead you are warned - 45, 14, 3 days, or your own schedule
- Vehicles in the Chaitra exception band get an extra early warning you cannot lose, because their deadline arrives sooner than expected
- A reminder on the deadline day itself, always
- Set the time of day reminders arrive
