Stowe 2.6 — Break it down gets a lot better at steps. • Break it down now works out what a task actually means before writing any steps. If a task is too vague to break down, it says so instead of inventing steps. • Break it down now understands the world a little better. When a task names something real — a form, a scheme, a service — Stowe looks it up before writing the steps. Only a short search phrase leaves your phone, nothing is kept, and you can turn it off under Settings › Break it down. • Steps stay with the task. They no longer reset each day. • The step list has its own look, tinted by the task it belongs to. Today shows a short "2 of 5 steps" count instead of every step laid open, and Break this down is in the edit form too. • Steps are easier to work with: bigger text and a bigger tap target for checking one off, and a confirm button when you add or rewrite a step. • Suggestions no longer depend on how full today's plan is, and there's no fixed cap — you see whatever genuinely clears the bar. • Each kind of item now has a faint background wash in its own color. • A calmer first minute. Type one thing or pick a few from a short list, see today’s plan take shape under them, and keep it — three screens, no permissions asked until you need them. Voice arrives on Capture once your plan is kept. Stowe still runs capture on the device — voice capture, transcription and structuring happen locally, so capture works in airplane mode. Break it down, Suggestions and Refine may use Apple's Private Cloud Compute when helpful.

Stowe 2.5 — Stowe thinks a little harder about what you meant. • Suggestions on Capture are now written by a model instead of picked by fixed rules. It looks at what you've done, what's coming up, and what's been waiting, and offers what's worth adding today — with the reason, in one line. • Refine (Pro) now understands what you meant, not just where to split it. Say something messy and Refine rewrites it into a clear task, or pulls out a proper list when you said several things. Your words stay underneath; one tap puts them back. • The focus tile's mandala inks in live on your Lock Screen, coloured by what kind of thing you're doing. • "A little longer": when a focus box finishes, extend it right from the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, or Now. • Today's plan size is adaptive by default — it learns from what you actually finish, with a "no limit" choice, and the day is never artificially "full". • A refreshed palette: brighter, more joyful colours — blue in light mode, a flat blue in dark mode. • Fixes: suggestions run more reliably after an update and can run up to four times a day when something real changes; a good suggestion is no longer mislabelled and dropped. Stowe still runs capture on the device — voice capture, transcription and structuring happen locally, so capture works in airplane mode. Suggestions and Refine may use Apple's Private Cloud Compute when helpful — never a server of ours.

Stowe 2.4 — one thing at a time. • A new Now. One task on a quiet screen, with Done, previous and next always in reach. The timer dial is the clock, and its rim fills as your time runs. The task's mark is colored by its type. • Pause and Stop for the focus timer, on Now, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • Your calendar in Now. A meeting appears from 30 minutes before it starts, and Now tells you how long you have until the next one, only when it matters. • The morning read-aloud (Pro) and "What's left today" with Siri now name your meetings too. • Move to a list: from the row, from the editor, on the Mac, or say "Move [task] in Toki". • Ring by Siri: say "Ring [task] in Toki", name the hour, and it rings once. Ring me is on Now as well. • A clearer first capture. Tap and speak; the mic opens right after you allow it. If the mic isn't ready, you can try again instead of being sent to the keyboard. The morning nudge is offered when you keep your first plan. • Fixes: a tap on the mic could be missed after an interruption, and the rating prompt no longer covers the plan button. No accounts. No server. Capture works in airplane mode.

Stowe 2.3.1 — your day, one step ahead. • Suggestions that read your calendar. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Stowe reads your events in any language and suggests the small task that gets you ready: prep before a meeting, packing before a trip, a gift before a birthday. Other iPhones get the same suggestions from English event titles. On by default; turn it off in Settings › Suggestions. • Ask Siri "What does Toki suggest?" to see today's suggestions and add them. • Gentle hints on a card that just landed: "Make it a routine?" when you add the same thing on a rhythm, and "Before your 3 pm?" when a task goes with an event. In the morning, one task that has waited a while may be offered back. • Today as a timeline. Your day runs down a quiet time rail with a small mark for now. Cards at the same time sit together, and meetings that have passed shrink out of the way. • Swipe on Capture: right to do it today, left to drop it, with Undo. "Just add it" always keeps your words as one card. • Share to Stowe from any app: text, links, photos and screenshots. Paste a list to add each line as a card, and scan several pages at once. • Bring in from Reminders: copy the reminders you choose into Stowe, once. Nothing in Reminders is changed. • Siri and Shortcuts: break down any task by name (Pro), links and pictures you give Siri are kept, a new "Add Tasks from Text" action, and a Scan control for Control Center and the Action Button. • Refine (Pro) only uses your own words, shows results sentence by sentence, and lets you tap words to keep or drop them. • A clearer Pro page that shows what you get and how the free week works. • Fixes: a focus timer started with Siri now shows on your Lock Screen, and the largest text sizes no longer break words mid-line.

Stowe 2.3 — it remembers what you add. • Suggestions on Capture. Stowe notices what you add on a rhythm — most Sundays, around the 1st, before a regular meeting — and offers it back, one tap to add. Always in your own words, worked out on your iPhone. • From your calendar, if you turn it on. Before a meeting, Stowe can offer "Prep for Design review"; before a trip, "Pack for" it; ahead of a birthday, a gift. Guesses are drawn dashed, and only one shows at a time. • Every list has its own. Main shows them all, with a small label for where each one lands. • Your call. Say "Not this one", ask "Why this?", or turn suggestions and calendar use off in Settings. • A lighter Capture. What you've stowed is now one tidy list, each item on a single line with its day, bell and tag, so more fits on screen. • Today by time of day. Your plan sits under Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Anytime, in the same order as before. A part of the day that's finished folds to one line; tap to open it. • Scan a page on any iPhone with iOS 27. Show Stowe a flyer, a whiteboard or a paper list and it reads the lines into tasks — faster, more reliably, and in your words as written, Hinglish and Hindi included. • Refine, steadier. It fits the iPhone it's on, looks only at the list you're viewing, and tells you plainly when it can't help. • Fixes: a long task saved from the + form stays one task with everything you set, and refined tasks stay in the list they came from. No accounts. No server. Capture works in airplane mode.

Stowe 2.2.1 — say it, then start it. • Start a focus timer with Siri. "Start a focus timer in Toki" puts a timer on the next thing on your list, right on your Lock Screen. Name a length too: "Focus for 30 minutes in Toki". • Change a task with Siri. Move it to another day or time, rename it, add a note or tick it off, just by asking. • Break it down with Siri. "Break down call the plumber in Toki" splits a task into small steps and reads you the first one. Part of Stowe Pro. • Mark it done the way you say it. "Mark call plumber as done in Toki" now finds "Call the plumber". • A colour for every kind of thing. Tasks, timed tasks, routines, things and thoughts each carry their own disc — on Today, Capture, Now, the editor, your widget and Apple Watch. Cards now show just the day and time. • Add a task by hand, properly. The new + at the top of Capture opens the full editor — time, repeat, notes and more — and saves to the list you're in. • Two doors, side by side. Stow it and Just add it now sit in one row, with Stow it in blue. • Lighter throughout. Text on every screen is a little smaller, and the main action on each screen is blue and easier to read in dark mode. No accounts. No server. Capture works in airplane mode.

Stowe 2.2 — tell Siri, and it lands in Stowe. With Siri and Apple Intelligence on iOS 27, whatever you say lands in Stowe already sorted: the right day, the right time, the right order. • Say it your way. "Add call the dentist at 2 tomorrow to Toki" becomes a task at 2 PM tomorrow, without opening the app. • Several things in one breath. "Add these to Toki: renew the insurance, call the plumber, water the plants" and each one lands as its own task. • Ask what's left. "What's left in Toki" reads your day in the order you see it, and "Mark call the dentist done in Toki" ticks it off. • Found everywhere. Your tasks show up in Spotlight and Siri. • One order everywhere. Siri, widgets, read-aloud and Apple Watch follow your Today screen exactly. • A first minute that works. Say one thing, watch it land in your plan, learn the Siri phrase. • Lighter and quicker. Task titles are smaller so Today reads like a list, and every screen settles in a blink. • Liquid Glass throughout: system navigation, tab bar and sheets, and an adaptable sidebar on iPad. No accounts. No server. Capture works in airplane mode.

Stowe 2.1 — built for iOS 27 day one. • Your calendar, beside your plan. Today's events sit above the day — read on this phone, nothing changed, nothing sent. Turn it on in Settings. • Show it a poster. Point the camera at a poster, a whiteboard, a paper list — the writing becomes things to do, on this phone. • Put it on the calendar. Any stowed thing becomes a calendar event with one tap, through the system sheet. • Ask Toki, from anywhere. "Ask Toki what I said about the dentist" works through Siri and Shortcuts. • Say it to Siri. "Stow this" asks what to keep and writes it down — your hands stay free. • A new coat of paint: the icon gains real depth in every face, and completing, deferring and reordering now answer in your hand. • Longer thoughts, one pass. Big rambles split less. And more of your day on iPad, with the new extra-large widget. No accounts. No server. Capture works in airplane mode.

Stowe 2.0 — ask your whole story. ASK, A NEW TAB. The search circle joins the bar. Ask for things the way you'd say them — "did I say something about the dentist?" finds "Book a checkup for my teeth". Type it or speak it; answers arrive as you go. Asking your list is free; asking your finished story too is Pro. NAME A LIST, GET THE LIST. "What did we plan for the Goa trip?" answers with the whole trip — the list's door and everything on it. THE WEEKLY RETURN. Once a week, Toki brings back the oldest thing still with you. Do it today, rest it for a while, or let it go — asking finds it again. NEW WIDGETS. The Run (your days of planning, with Toki keeping watch), Next (your focus box, live), a list of your choice, and Still with you — one old thing resurfaced each day. ALSO: multiple lists with spoken capture landing where you stand, tag and list editing in Settings, focus boxes for things and routines, and a stack of polish throughout.

Lists. A separate Captured for a separate purpose — a project, a trip, the groceries. Make one from the rail above your list (on the Mac, it's in the sidebar), switch with a tap, and everything you say lands in the list you're standing in. Your tags work in every list, each list remembers its own arrangement, and today's plan stays one day across all of them. Making more lists is part of Stowe Pro. Your first list — and everything on it — stays free.

One word per card, and never a guess: Stowe does not invent a tag from what you said. Each word keeps its own colour, so a list you filed is a list you can read down. Captured groups by tag, by kind or by day, and sorts inside each group — newest, oldest, soonest, or A to Z. Nothing is ever hidden: every card sits under a heading, including the ones with no tag on them. Also in this one: a second way to capture for when the words are already the task, a mic that says it's listening the moment it starts, and a good number of small things that were sitting crooked. Voice, on the iPhones where it never worked. On some iPhones every hold of the mic came back with nothing — not slowly, not sometimes, every time. Stowe now falls back to a second way of listening when the first one can't run. Still on this phone, still fine in aeroplane mode, still nothing you say sent anywhere. Four readings that were wrong rather than missing: • "write the monthly report" was becoming a routine that came back every month, with "monthly" taken out of your own sentence. It's a task now. • "subah 6 baje" was six in the evening. A part of the day now settles the hour — and "shaam ko" on its own still sets no time at all, because it isn't one. • "saade chaar baje" was losing its half hour. • "every other Monday" was a single Monday. Hindi weekday names now name a day, and "ek ghanta" or "das minute" are read as long as they are. And a note or a photo can go on anything — the shelf label, the counter number, the thing a sentence is bad at holding.

Say several things at once and get several things back. A list said the way people actually say it — "call amma tomorrow, water the plants every three days, book the car service" — was coming back as a single item with the whole sentence inside it. Stowe was reading the commas as pauses in one thought rather than the breaks between three. It now reads them as breaks when what sits either side is genuinely a separate thing to do, and leaves them alone when it isn't: "I'm so tired of chasing this, call the plumber" is still one card, because that is one card. Your week and your month now say where they stand. Under the count, a line or two on how this stretch sits against your own recent ones — and, once there is enough history behind it, the one thing a month can tell you that you don't already know: what has kept coming back, and how far back it goes. Also: refining now says why it can't run instead of blaming the phone — if Apple Intelligence is switched off it says so and points at the setting — and there are two new rows in Settings, one to rate Stowe and one to tell us what's missing.

Stowe on your wrist. Now is the first page on the watch: Toki is the mic, so a thought becomes a box without reaching for your phone. Start a box from the wrist, watch the focus clock run there, and close a finished day with the same small celebration. Stowe sits on your watch face as a complication, and in the Smart Stack. Sit with one thing. Toki holds a countdown while a box runs — for a length you choose, on a wheel that remembers the last one. Ask for a little longer when the end comes too soon; finish early and the room says so. On the Lock Screen, a Live Activity keeps the ink track moving. Reflections in your own words. The weekly reflection stopped refusing words it should have recognised, and the month card leads on the shape of your month rather than its totals. Also in 1.4: • A freeze while Stowe checked for Apple Intelligence is gone. • Capture survives a call or an alarm arriving mid-sentence. • Long titles on a day card wrap to two lines instead of losing their middle.

Toki keeps things now. Journal has a small shelf of keepsakes — earned for finished days, weeks planned, and coming back after a gap. Never lost; the ones you haven't earned simply aren't shown. Read your month. The month card opens into a short review: the week that carried it, the things that defined it in your own words, how you did it, and what Toki kept. Your first month is free in full; every month after it is kept with Pro. Your run, kept gently. A run card shows the days you planned, your best, and the days a freeze held. Days off don't touch the run. Also in 1.3: • Weekly and monthly reflections tell the story of your week, not a list of it. • Refine runs on the on-device model once it's downloaded. • Toki can wear a few things you've earned — all free.

A sharper ear. On recent iPhones, Stowe now captures with a new on-device model, downloaded once in the background after you update. More of what you say lands as the task you meant — and your words are still read on your phone, not on a server. Fixes - Weekly reflection now shows up reliably for Pro — including mid-week, and on quiet weeks. - Refine now actually refines the lines you ask it about. - Saved task titles start with a capital letter.
