storyFT is a bedtime audiobook app for kids: a curated library of public-domain fairy tales, folk tales and lullabies, read by volunteers, streaming free to everyone, forever.

WHAT'S IN THE CATALOG
Recordings from LibriVox and the Internet Archive. Every story is listened to by a person before it's added — never scraped and published automatically. New stories arrive every month, grouped into collections like Fairy & Folk Tales and Lullabies, Rhymes & Poems.
ENDS IN SLEEP
Four sleep-timer choices: end of story, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or off. Instead of cutting out, the audio fades gently over the final stretch, and the screen settles into a still goodnight picture that dismisses with a tap.
SAFE BY DESIGN
No ads. No usage analytics or tracking of any kind. No accounts to create and nothing for a child to type. No social features, no sharing, and no links out of the app anywhere a child can reach. The only notification storyFT ever posts is the playback control on your lock screen — never a reminder, never a promotion.
OFFLINE, WITH LIFETIME PRO
The whole catalog streams free, forever, whether or not you ever pay. Lifetime Pro is a single one-time purchase — not a subscription — that lets you keep stories on the device to play in the car, on a plane, or in airplane mode at bedtime, and it works across your family's devices. A downloaded story stays yours even if it later leaves the catalog. There's also an optional tip, which unlocks nothing and exists only if you'd like to help.
FOR GROWN-UPS
Purchases, downloads and settings sit behind a quick math question a young child can't answer, asked again every time. In there: limit stories to an age group, choose the sleep-timer default, decide whether it keeps playing through a collection, and manage downloads.

Stories now keep going until it's time to sleep.
• The sleep timer now starts on 15 minutes. With 15 or 30 minutes, stories play one after another from the same collection until the time is up. A story that won't fit in the time left is skipped, and no story plays twice in one evening.
• "End of story" is now called "One story". Pick it if you'd like the evening to end after a single story, or make it the default under For parents.
• The separate "keep playing" switch for grown-ups is gone, because the timer choice now does that job.
• Fixed: when one story ended, the next could be skipped, or marked as heard without playing.
• Fixed: when the evening ended on its own, the lock screen kept showing a Pause button.
The library has grown too: 177 stories, each one listened to by a person before it was added.
