Tap record, say what you mean, tap stop. OhmsVoice turns your speech into clean, punctuated text and copies it to the clipboard, ready to paste into an email, a message, a note or any other app on your iPhone or iPad.
YOU CHOOSE HOW IT LISTENS
The first time you open OhmsVoice, it asks how to listen before the microphone is ever used: start right away with the on-device speech recognition built into iOS, where your device supports it for your language, or download the open-source speech model once, with your consent (483 MB, 25 languages, automatic punctuation). The download is pinned to a verified revision, every file is checksummed, and the model is load-tested before it is marked ready. Your audio never leaves the device and is deleted as soon as the text is ready, including when you cancel.
CLEANUP THAT NEEDS NO NETWORK
Clean (On-Device) removes English filler words such as "um" and "uh", turns spoken commands like "new line", "full stop" and "question mark" into layout and punctuation, and fixes capitalization. Raw Transcript copies exactly what you said.
YOUR SNIPPETS AND SPELLINGS
Say a short trigger and OhmsVoice expands it into text you saved: an address, a sign-off, a link. Save the names and terms you use and they come out spelled your way, even when spoken apart ("swift ui" becomes "SwiftUI"). Both work on your device and leave Raw Transcript untouched.
HISTORY YOU CONTROL
History keeps your transcripts so you can copy one again. Keep them for a day, a week, forever, or not at all, and clear them in one step.
OPTIONAL REWRITES WITH YOUR OWN KEY
The Email, Ticket and Concise presets can rewrite a transcript with a cloud language model you choose. They stay locked until you paste your own API key and approve that provider. A rewrite sends the transcript, the preset's instructions and any spellings you saved, never audio. Keys are stored in the Keychain.
EVERY NETWORK CONNECTION, LISTED
The one-time speech model download, if you choose it; text sent to a provider you approved, only when you run one of its presets; links you open. Nothing to sign up for, no telemetry, no analytics.

• The Meeting Minutes preset, a retired rewrite provider, the unused cost meter and the local model server option (it only runs on a Mac) are gone.
