Cue - Set it down
Productivity
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Hand a reminder to someone and stop carrying it. New in 1.3: warm dark mode, a page for each person you share with, optional photos, and Seen, so you know they looked.
Cue won't let you get caught out.
The trial that's about to charge. The quarterly taxes. The license renewal. The air filter. Your niece's birthday. Life hands you these in the worst moments. Driving, working, lying in bed. If there's any friction at all, the thought is gone.
Cue is the place to set it down. Type the messy thought exactly as it arrives, "cancel the free trial before the 12th," and Cue turns it into a clean reminder on its own. It reads the date. It knows the stakes.
Or say it. Hold the microphone and talk, walking out of a meeting or with your hands full of mail, and Cue writes it down for you.
That's the difference: Cue understands what it costs you if a thing slips. "Buy paper towels" and "file quarterly taxes" are not the same, and Cue never treats them the same. Items with real stakes surface earlier, get held closer, and come back with room to breathe. A buffer you didn't have to ask for.
Some reminders end in a deed, not a checkmark. Birthdays come back with the text message already drafted. A call comes back with the number ready to dial. Cue walks you through the door, not just to it.
Some reminders belong to someone else. Send a cue to a person and it lands on their phone with your name on it. They mark it done or not done, and you see which. Talk it through right on the cue. When they've opened it, you'll know. Quietly, and only on your side, so you never have to ask whether they saw it. Every person you share with gets a page: everything between you, both directions, in one place. Add a photo if you like. Your initials work fine.
No folders. No boards. No setup. No streaks, badges, or noise. Four calm views: Today, Soon, All Items, and All Clear, the state that tells you nothing urgent is hiding. Because the point of holding everything is the moment you get to stop.
Light or dark. Cue's dark is warm, not black, and it follows your phone unless you tell it otherwise.
Set it down. It's handled.
Cue 1.3 is about the people you share with.
People. Tap anyone in Settings to see every cue between you, in both directions, with the conversation right there.
Seen. When someone opens a cue you sent, you'll know. Quietly, and only on your side.
Photos. Add one if you like. Your initials work fine too.
Dark mode that's warm, not black. It follows your phone, or set it yourself.
Threads feel more like talking to a person. Their name up top, links you can tap, room to write.
Invite links now land you right where the cue is.
