Standing meetings accumulate like subscriptions. Created for a project that shipped or a crisis that passed, recurring forever, because cancelling is awkward and creating was easy.
Adjourned reads the recurring meetings from your calendar and prices each one honestly: hours per year, and an estimated annual cost built from one blended rate, times attendees, times duration. A five-stage gradient tracks your weekly total, from clear sky to full sunset.
Then, once a month, the ritual: one card per standing meeting, one question. Does this meeting earn its time? Answer it, then decide. Keep, shorten, cut, or defer.
Adjourned never cancels anything for you, and decisions do not lower your number. A meeting marked to end still counts until it actually leaves your calendar, or you confirm you stopped attending. The app records what you decided and holds you to it, and when the invite actually changes, it notices.
Every review lands in the record. A meeting sliding from Usually to Rarely across three reviews is telling you something before you have admitted it.

- Reads recurring meetings from your calendar. Nothing is written, nothing leaves your device, and access is optional: enter meetings manually and everything works identically.
- One blended hourly rate in Settings, with per-meeting overrides.
- Exclude calendars, or mark individual series as not a meeting. Both reversible, nothing deleted.
- Small and medium home screen widgets: your weekly hours, and your three heaviest meetings.
- Ask Siri how many hours your standing meetings take, start your review from Shortcuts, or find any meeting in Spotlight.
- Built for iPhone and iPad.
- Decisions sync privately through iCloud. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
- The full cost picture is free. The ritual, decisions, the record, and CSV export are a single one-time purchase. No subscription; that would be ironic.
