Live in France, Croatia, Slovenia and Denmark: real stations, each new reading as soon as it arrives. Pin your home spot and check the wind from your watch.
WindNow shows the wind speed right now, measured by real weather stations on the coast and on lakes. No forecast, no model: the latest reading from each station, on the map as soon as the station sends it.
Check the live wind at your spot before you rig or launch: kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, sailing.
- Live wind map of the stations near you, with speed, gusts and direction in knots
- Tracked station: the pinned one, else the closest, always one tap away
- 2-hour chart for each station, with gusts and trend
- Replay of almost 2 hours on the map in a few seconds, to see if the wind is building or dropping, and if the forecast has been right so far
- Rain radar overlay where available
- On the wrist: the Apple Watch app shows the same live readings
Coverage: France, Croatia, Slovenia and Denmark, with live wind data from national weather services (Météo-France, DHMZ, ARSO, DMI) and community weather stations. More countries are on the way.
