buzzter turns every phone in the room into a buzzer.
One person hosts. Everyone else joins free: type the room code, choose a display name, and hold your phone. The host asks a question aloud and taps CLEAR. Players buzz, buzzter produces one complete ranked order, and each player sees their own result.
NO EXTRA HARDWARE
• No wires or dedicated buzzers.
• Join with a six-character room code said aloud.
• The whole player screen becomes the buzzer.
• Leave and rejoin when needed.
FREE PLAYER MODE
• Playing is free. Players do not create accounts, passwords, or profiles.
• Tap-to-buzz and Release-to-buzz variants
HOST MODE
• Open rooms for every event while host access is active.
• Control whether new players may enter.
• Admit waiting players individually or together.
• Arm each race with CLEAR.
• Read the full ranked buzz order.
• Remove a player from the room.
• End the game when the event is over.
TWO WAYS TO HOST
Host access is available as an auto-renewing monthly plan with a seven-day trial for eligible new subscribers, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the price in your local currency before you buy. Monthly renews until cancelled; Lifetime does not renew. Restore Purchases is available in the app.
MADE FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS
Use buzzter for pub quizzes, family game nights, training, church and community groups, quiz-bowl practice, and teen or adult classrooms. Questions are spoken live; buzzter handles the race.
NO ACCOUNTS
There is no sign-up, sign-in, or password. Purchases are managed through the App Store and RevenueCat using an anonymous app-user identifier.
buzzter requires an internet connection. The host and players join the same live room from their own devices.

Ratings & Reviews

• Added System, Light, and Dark appearance options in Settings. Changes apply immediately and System mode follows your device theme.
• Fixed a bug where a player who joined a room mid-race could get an incorrect "you didn't buzz" screen for a race they weren't part of.
• Fixed a crash when tapping a store or support link that couldn't be opened.
• Removed unnecessary divider lines and tidied spacing on the host's scoreboard for a cleaner layout.
