OrdScan

Temple card scanner & notes

Free · In‑App Purchases

Scan temple cards, find your people again, and remember what matters. Keep favorites and personal notes close, with widgets for your next scan. A card. A name. A connection. OrdScan helps you discover the person behind a temple card. Point your iPhone or iPad camera at the printed person ID to open the corresponding FamilySearch page—without typing the code. SCAN AND EXPLORE • Scan a printed person ID, choose a photo, or enter an ID manually. • Scan multiple cards in a row with batch scanning. • Open a person’s details or ordinances on FamilySearch. KEEP THE CONNECTION • Find people again with searchable scan history. • Save favorites and add personal notes to remember what matters. • Optionally sync history, favorites, and notes across your devices with iCloud. • Start a scan from Home Screen widgets or Shortcuts, and return to saved people from a widget. • Create reminders and print card PDFs when available in the browser. MADE FOR YOUR DEVICE Text recognition happens on your device. History stays local unless you enable iCloud sync. Accessing FamilySearch requires an internet connection and may require signing in to your FamilySearch account. Try 5 scans free. Unlock unlimited scanning with a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription. Manual ID entry and saved history remain free. OrdScan is an independent companion app for use with FamilySearch.
