1Edit lifts the person out of your photo and slides graphics in behind them. Stars over your shoulder, dots clustering at your back, a halo of sparkles around the pose. The cutout happens on its own, in about ten seconds, and nothing is saved until you say so.
ELEVEN GRAPHIC LOOKS
Stars, Dots, Stars & Dots, Sparkle Halo, Dot Bloom, Burst, Ghost Walk, Rings, Disc Stamp and Spinning Stars, each with its own colors and sliders. Tap a look and your color and sliders carry over, so you can try all of them on one picture without setting up again.
Create Your Own Effects cuts the subject out of any other picture and keeps it as a sticker, ready to drop behind you. Your stickers stay in the app, to use on any photo.
TWO SCENES
White postcard prints the still on a magnet-pinned postcard. The subject glitches between the photo and a paper-white hole.
Perspective swap splits the frame. Each half opens a window onto the other, water in the trees, sky in the cup.
THE MAGIC PENCIL
Automatic cutouts miss things: a gap between an arm and a body, a shard of background caught in your hair. Paint to add, erase to remove, pinch to zoom in for the fine work. The brush sits just above your finger so you can see what you are doing.
MOVE IT AROUND
Drag to slide the pattern around until it sits where you want it. Set the size, the density and the color. Add motion, and the graphics drift, spin or pulse behind you. Motion becomes a video or a Live Photo when you export.
WHAT LEAVES THE APP
Full-size still images to Photos and Share, a six-second motion video, or a Live Photo that plays when pressed.

1Edit Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly, monthly or yearly. Your Apple ID is charged when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the term ends, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that. You can manage it, or turn off auto-renew, any time in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Works best with one person against a clear background. The original picture stays in Photos.
