Doodle: Learn to Draw
Step-by-step drawing for kids
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Doodle turns "I can't draw" into "look what I made".
Every lesson breaks a picture into simple steps — a circle, two long ears, a smile — and a dotted guide shows exactly where each line goes. Your child traces it, then draws it themselves. Tap "Show me" to watch the step again, as many times as they like. There is no score, no timer and no way to fail.
GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD
One setting changes everything: button sizes, how many steps a lesson has, how much the guide helps, and whether instructions are read aloud.
• Little Artists (3-5) — big buttons, spoken instructions, generous guides
• Explorers (6-8) — more steps, gentle hints
• Creators (9-12) — construction lines and finer tools
• Studio (13+) — the full toolset, at their own pace
97 FREE LESSONS ACROSS 9 WORLDS
Shapes, Animals, Vehicles, Nature, Yummy Food, Fantasy, Under the Sea, People & Faces, and Monster Pals.
OPTIONAL LESSON PACKS
Seven packs add 120 more lessons: Little Big Wheels, Dino Discovery, Character Lab, Sketch Your World, Tiny Worlds, Sweet & Squishy and Deep Blue. Each pack has a free lesson to try first. Packs are one-time purchases, never subscriptions, with Family Sharing, and buying always sits behind a grown-up check.
DRAW ON PAPER TOO
Prefer real crayons? Paper mode turns the lesson into a reference board to follow at the kitchen table, then photographs the finished drawing straight into the gallery. The screen is optional.
FREE DRAW
Marker, crayon, pencil and eraser. Eighteen colors, brush sizes that suit the age, undo and redo.
A GALLERY TO BE PROUD OF
Every finished picture is saved automatically, with stars and stickers for lessons completed.
