A newer on-device model writes your summaries and answers. Translation no longer needs a download first. It now uses Apple's built-in on-device translation, so your first translation works as soon as the system's language pack is there — and if one is missing, the app says which it is and where to get it. The 1 GB model is now optional, for those who want every language. NEW • Summaries: ask the on-device model for a few sentences about a long recording, written in the language of the transcript or the translation, and saved with the record • Edit the transcript by hand — correct a name, or type a note before you record • Settings lets you choose between Apple's built-in translation and the optional on-device model FIXED • A second recording could include the previous one's audio, so its transcript began with the earlier recording's text • Translation could fail with "the translation service did not respond" while the app was open in the foreground • The language-pack buttons in Settings sometimes did nothing when tapped
