Motive 1.1.1 A new look, and a lot more to do with it. A fresh design. New colours, new cards and a new home page. What's on picks one event to feature, then gives you three rows to scroll through: Coming up, Curated for you and Try something new. Five tabs. What's on, Events, Eats, Societies and You. Your plans, Saved and hosting now live at the top of You. Eats. Restaurants near campus that give students a discount. Each one has its own page with its discounts, a map and its tags. Show the pass at the till and tap Use discount. The map. Every event this week and every place to eat, on one map. Filter to what's open now. Save things. Tap the heart on any event or restaurant to keep it for later. Only you can see what you've saved. Google Calendar. Connect it from You, and every event you have a spot at goes into a Motive calendar that stays up to date. If you run a society, its events can go in too. Your plans. A week view with your plans underneath, and a month view. Waitlists and spots. Some societies now choose who gets a spot from the waitlist. Some will ask you to confirm your spot before the event. If you don't, it goes to someone else, and you At the door. For members-only events, the check-in scmbership is verified. Applications. Societies can now ask you to attach filor payment, as well as a CV. People. Tap anyone in a list to see their card: friend their profile.

A new home • What's on now opens on the event of the week, then rows you can swipe through: what's coming up, events from societies you follow, and something new to try. The full list, with its filters, has moved to the new Events tab. Eats • Discounts at places near campus. Open the pass, show it at the till and tap Use discount. Each place has its own page with its offers, a map and directions. The map • Tap any map to see every event this week and every place to eat around you. On Eats, turn on Open now to see only places open right now. Save it for later • Tap the heart on any event or restaurant. Only you can see what you've saved, under You → Saved. Google Calendar • Connect it from You, and every event you have a spot at goes into a Motive calendar. It moves when the event moves and comes out if you drop out. Your plans • Look at your plans by week or by month. You'll find them under You, next to Saved. Friends, at a glance • Event cards now show the faces of friends who are going. Tap anyone, anywhere, to see their card. For societies • Check membership at the door: a scan shows whether someone is on your member list. • Waitlists can be first come, first served, or you pick who gets a spot. • Ask everyone with a spot to confirm by a set day, so no-shows free up spots. • Choose whether people can see how many are going.

What's new in 1.0.3 • A face of your own. No photo? Pick from twelve faces and twelve colours on your profile. • Weekly streak. Go to an event each week and your streak shows on your profile. • Co-hosted events. Societies can now run events together, including with societies at other unis. • Members-only events. Societies can add their members, who see events nobody else does. • Applied to an event? If you're accepted, confirm your spot in the app before the deadline to keep it. We'll remind you. • Find your societies faster. New members pick what they're into and get societies to follow. The same topics are in the What's on filter. • Misc. UX changes

• Profiles say more. See how many friends someone has and who you both know. On a friend's profile, see the events they've been to. • Search finds everything. Type an event's name and it turns up, even if it's weeks away. • Societies show their past events, under what's coming up. • Tap an event's picture to see all of it. • If an event you have a spot at moves or is called off, you get a notification and an email. One message, even when it's several dates. • Cancelled events no longer sit in What's on. • For committees: pick any weekdays for an event that repeats, and see the dates before you publish. Cancelled events get their own section on your society's admin page. • Minor bug fixes

• Events that repeat. Publish a weekly social or a daily session once, and every date gets its own sign-ups and check-in code. • Add friends with a link. • Invite admins by email, even if they aren't on Motive yet. • Fixes across events, check-in and the calendar.
