Bug Fixes and Improvements Family Chore Wallet is now free to download. Every new family gets a 7-day free trial, then a one-time purchase unlocks the app for your whole family on every device. One parent's purchase covers everyone, and kids never see a price. Everyone who already bought the app keeps full access, at no extra cost. UI Changes related to Card with grey lines, chores not needing a photo no longer ask for one, Hero Card details. Updated Privacy Policy

New: Push Notifications. Family members now get instant alerts on their own phones, even when the app is closed. You'll be notified when a chore needs approval, when it's approved or needs a redo, when there's a new chat message, and when a payment is sent. Choose which alerts you want in Settings > Notifications. New: Makeup Chores. A missed chore can still be done within 7 days for half pay. You'll find them under "Makeup Chores" on the Home screen. Notification Preferences now only show the alerts that apply to the person using the device, so kids no longer see parent-only options. Improved syncing so approvals, profile pictures and profile changes show up reliably on every family device.

Parents/Childs Chores with Approved Transaction payments were not syncing across devices, Parents payments showed 2 different amounts leaving to amount still being owed. Updated the UI to show history of monthly transactions with Chores and Payment History.

This was done to prevent child profiles from switching to parent profiles to mark chores as done, again this is only for local profiles. (Without Apple Signin) Transaction History: + Child only sees their transaction history vs households transaction history, Parents see all transactions. Bonus/Deduction: + Is exactly as it implies, extra money given or taken for Childs behavior Examples: Lying, Swearing, Stealing, Not Listening, Yelling, Not doing their chores. Such as life their actions have consequences +/- teaching them early is a great way to learn responsibilities. Like I tell my daughter “No one is going to pay you to load or unload your dishwasher when you’re an adult”
