Gateway Log is a private journal for meditation, dream recall, and consciousness exploration. Capture an experience while it is fresh, keep the original audio and supporting material together, and notice patterns across time without sending your journal to an advertising or analytics service. CAPTURE THE WHOLE SESSION • Write in one focused journal area • Record full-session audio or import a recording from Voice Memos or Files • Transcribe supported audio with Apple’s on-device speech recognition • Keep the original recording, edit the transcript, or remove the audio whenever you choose • See the waveform, scrub the timeline, and jump between audible sections • Add feelings, impressions, intentions, questions, body sensations, and energy notes when they are useful ADD THE THINGS THAT HELP YOU REMEMBER Attach sketches, rendered images, photos, documents, and other files to an entry. Gateway Log recognizes compatible Mind Monitor CSV exports and turns the readings into a time-based brainwave chart while preserving the original spreadsheet. FIND THE THREADS Search the journal, filter by date or attached content, review objective patterns, tap summaries to open matching entries, and use optional offline tag suggestions to surface recurring symbols and themes. Create your own Emoji Clues by pairing words or phrases with built-in emoji or Genmoji where available. Their symbols appear beside matching entries in the journal list, making experiences easier to recognize at a glance. Edit the included clues or add your own. MAKE IT YOURS Choose from 32 journal palettes, 64 adaptive experience colors, light or dark appearance, and four font styles. New journals choose an unused color automatically, and you can change it whenever you choose. KEEP YOUR READING WITH YOUR WRITING Optionally import a reading from the separate Gateway Arcana app through a user-reviewed file transfer. Keep your own writing, card reference, clarifiers and available card artwork together. Your source Arcana journal and decks remain unchanged. RECORD FIRST. INTERPRET LATER. Verification tools let you preserve an original impression and later mark it confirmed, partial, missed, or inconclusive. Gateway Log organizes what you recorded; you decide what it means. YOUR JOURNAL STAYS YOURS Gateway Log has no developer account system, advertising, or tracking. Core features work offline. Your journal is stored on your devices and can sync through your private iCloud account. Audio transcription is requested from Apple’s on-device speech recognizer, and the app does not require a third-party AI service. You can create human-readable exports, AI-ready exports you choose to share, and complete portable backups. Gateway Log works with any meditation or spiritual practice. It does not include guided meditation content.
