New and improved!
Today in Marin is a daily newsletter about local government in six Marin County towns: Larkspur, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, Sausalito, San Anselmo and Fairfax. Every morning it reads what each town published the day before from council and commission agendas, minutes, staff reports, news posts and the towns' own meeting recordings and writes the day's issue: one to three real stories up front, everything else in one-sentence briefs.
TODAY
Every town's latest issue on one front page.
ISSUES
Each story names the property, the proposal, staff's position and what happens next, with a pull quote taken word for word from the record and a link to that moment in the meeting video. Every story links to its source documents.
THE WEEK
A Sunday recap for each town that follows a project from agenda to decision, plus what's coming up.
MEETINGS
Every upcoming meeting across all six towns in one list, each with its agenda.
The issues are written by an AI (Claude) from public documents, with quotations enforced in software and a public corrections page. Today in Marin is an independent resident project, not affiliated with any municipality. Always check the linked source documents for anything that matters to you. Free, no account, no tracking.
