NextToU just went nationwide. We’re now at 250 of the biggest colleges across the US, from Arizona State and Texas A&M to Michigan, NYU, Berkeley and Georgia Tech. Pick your school and see everything happening on campus in one place. Also new: • Graduating? Stay on as an alum and keep your saved events, reminders and everything else. • Smarter schedule import. A class that meets on several days now shows up once, not once per day. • Rate NextToU right from your account page. Every rating helps more students find us. • Small fixes and speed improvements throughout.

Your saved events, rebuilt around what's happening now. - My Events now uses the same cards as the main feed, so your saved events look the way they did when you found them. - Events happening right now show it. The date turns into a live countdown, with a bar that fills as the event runs, on the feed and in My Events. - Set a reminder for an event that's already started and you choose when to be nudged: in 15 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour or two. Pick a time and it says "Custom time set". Tap it to change your mind. - We now ask about notifications when you save your first event, not during sign-up, so everyone gets the choice, including people who already had an account. - Creating an account and signing in are cleaner and quicker. - Your reminders list sorts each one under the right day, and tapping a reminder takes you straight to the event. - Reminders that are switched off say so clearly, so you can see at a glance which events will notify you. - Going offline no longer leaves the app stuck. The moment you're back on Wi-Fi the banner clears and events refresh on their own. Your reminders list still shows while you're offline. - Your school's logo now sits next to the event count on the feed.

A proper welcome, and a few things that were overdue. - Your campus now picks itself from your school email — no more choosing it from a list on your first run. - Forgot your password? You can now reset it in the app. We email you a code, you type it in, you're back. - NextToU checks for updates quietly in the background, so you're always on the current version without thinking about it. - Being offline now says you're offline, instead of telling you to sign in. Your saved events and reminders keep working. - The app opens on your university's colors, not ours. - Search is back to looking for events, clubs and places.
