HALT! EMDR
Bilateral stimulation
Free
Follow a calm, steady dot from side to side. Simple sets, gentle themes, and nothing to sign up for.
HALT! gives you a calm, simple way to practise bilateral stimulation on your own.
A dot moves slowly from one side of the screen to the other. Follow it with your eyes while keeping your head still. This steady left–right rhythm is known as bilateral stimulation, and many people use it to settle, refocus and take a mindful pause.
HOW IT WORKS
• Start a set and follow the dot.
• Each set stops by itself. Take a breath and notice how you feel.
• Start the next set when you're ready.
MAKE IT YOURS
• Five speeds, from very slow to very fast
• 10 to 60 passes per set
• Calm themes, including Night for dark rooms and a high-contrast option
• Three dot sizes
ON EVERY SCREEN
HALT! runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
