Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Fixed a crash when opening calculator 10 (Plywood Covering). Switching roof calculators now applies their saved dimensions safely.
• Each roof type keeps its dimensions, materials, colors and layers when switching calculators and after closing and reopening the app.
• Clay finish on curved tiles, better seated ridge caps and cleaner dormer junctions.
• Closed addition sheathing, bay wall flashing beneath the tiles and corrected high-edge trim.
• Expanded shopping list with barge boards, ceiling joists, drywall and insulation, matching the 3D model.
Cleaner roof geometry, closer to how it is built:
• L-shaped roof (hip and valley): the junction of ridge, hip and valley is closed at any size, in tile, shingle and metal; the tile hip cap no longer rises above the ridge.
• Tile: pan tiles now run the right way (narrow end at the eave), hollow and seated inside the one below; cover tiles show their edge; the ridge mortar bed slopes down to fill the tile mouths; tile sits on the valley flashing. No slivers between tiles, no dark gaps under the ridge cap, no teeth along the valley cut.
• Trim: rake ends, eave corners, ridge caps, junctions and wall flashing closed all the way to the tip; cone cap on the turret peak.
• Barge board outside the fly rafter on every gable, and a one-board ridge from fly rafter to fly rafter, notched at the overhang.
• Dormer: the existing roof has its eave, soffit and sheathed front wall; sheathing closed at the peak; ceiling and insulation batts in the dormer and the bay.
• Insulation wall to wall in all fifteen roofs; every piece card in the app language, naming what the piece is.
• Fascia boards on the house and the addition aligned and cut to their exact width, also in valley roofs with two pitches.
• The open-valley channel runs to the peak and out to the drip line, in tile, shingle and metal.
• Wraparound porch at its height under the fascia; wall flashing on both sides of the bay roof; wooden corner posts.
• The dimension controls apply the minimum fascia width, so the number you set, the cut list and the 3D model agree.
• Loose or overlapping pieces fixed across all fifteen roofs.
