Most of the recipes you actually make aren't online. They're in cookbooks with splattered pages, on cards in the recipe tin, on printouts folded into a drawer. SnapCookBook turns them into one tidy library on your iPhone.
SCAN A PAGE, GET THE RECIPE
Open a cookbook at a recipe you love and take a photo. SnapCookBook reads the title, ingredients, method, servings and times, and saves them as a recipe you can edit.
• Recipes that run over two pages? Scan up to four pages as one recipe.
• Handwritten cards from the recipe tin work too.
• Anything that was hard to read is highlighted, so you can check it against the original photo, which is always kept with the recipe.
• Works offline too: on iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Scans can be read right on your iPhone.

• Every recipe remembers the cookbook and page it came from.
• Group recipes into Collections: Weeknight, Christmas, Mum's.
• Search by ingredient to find what you can make with what's in the fridge.

• Scale servings from 4 to 6 or 8. Amounts update as kitchen fractions like ½ and 1⅓.

• Your recipes sync through your own iCloud, not our servers.
• No account, no sign-up, no email address.

SnapCookBook is free to use with 5 Scans every week, unlimited recipes you type in, Cookbooks, Collections, search, iCloud sync and backup.
SnapCookBook Pro adds unlimited Scans, Cook Mode with serving scaling, sharing and printing, and new Pro features as they arrive. Pro is available as a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, a monthly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
