Trumpy's late for the gig! Race him through a maze of sliding walls, dodge bouncing balls and glowing Super Balls and reach the band before the two-minute clock runs out.
The band is ready. The crowd is waiting. There's just one problem: their trumpet player is on the wrong side of the maze.
Get Trumpy to the Concert! is a small, classic arcade maze game. Guide Trumpy through a maze of moving walls and bouncing balls, and get him to the stage before the gig starts without him.
BEAT THE CLOCK
Your score is the clock. It starts at 75,000 and drops by 500 every second. Reach the band and you keep whatever is left, so the faster you get there, the higher your score. Let it run all the way down and you've missed the gig, and you'll hear about it from a very sad trombone.
DODGE THE BALLS
Nine bouncing balls criss-cross the whole maze, flying right over the walls. Touch any one of them and Trumpy is sent straight back to the start, while the clock keeps ticking. He gets a moment's protection when he reappears, then it's up to you again.
WATCH OUT FOR THE SUPER BALLS
Three glowing Super Balls are the fastest things in the maze, each moving at its own speed. You'll see them shimmer, and with sound on you'll hear them sparkle as they get close.
TIME THE WALLS
Almost every wall has a section that slides out to seal its gap, waits, then pulls back. Each one keeps its own rhythm, and the timing changes every time, so you can watch for your moment but never memorize it. Slip through when it opens, and don't get caught waiting.
TAKE THE SOLO
Make it to the stage and Trumpy steps out front to play his solo with the big band, then the celebration begins: your time, your score, and a flashing NEW HIGH SCORE! when you've beaten your best.
EASY TO PICK UP
• Touch: put your thumb down anywhere and drag. A joystick appears under it, and the further you drag, the faster Trumpy goes. Lift to stop.
• Keyboard: arrow keys or W, A, S, D to move, and Space or Return to play again.
• Every game is different. The balls, the Super Balls and the walls are shuffled each time you play.
• No game lasts longer than two and a half minutes, so there's always time for one more.
