Keep a photo record. Understand what is visible.
Moru brings scalp photos and medication or topical-care routines together in a private personal log. Photos are stored in private cloud storage without being automatically saved to your device's camera roll.
• Scalp check: submit one current photo for each of two selected areas. Read the visible evidence, its meaning and points to consider. You can repeat a successful check every seven days.
• AI before-and-after comparison: select an earlier and a later photo for each of two areas, four photos in total. See visible differences and the limits of the comparison. Your first comparison does not require a completed scalp check. After a successful comparison, the next becomes available seven days later. Unused opportunities do not accumulate.
• Careful interpretation: unclear or mismatched photos receive retake guidance. When lighting, angles or other conditions prevent a reliable comparison, the app withholds change assessment. Failed or noncomparable analyses do not count as a successful use.
• Your history: browse dated photos, use manual before-and-after comparison, and review timelapses and period records. Rereading saved AI results does not use another AI allowance.
• Your care routine: enter medication or product names, amounts and reminder times yourself. Check off completed care or snooze a reminder when needed.
AI features run only when you submit photos yourself; submitted photos are analyzed by an external AI processing service. Results describe visible features in the supplied photos. They do not diagnose hair loss or disease, measure hair density, or determine treatment effectiveness. Moru does not recommend medication, treatment or doses.
New accounts require a subscription. Monthly and yearly auto-renewing plans are available, with a one-month free trial for eligible accounts. Check the purchase screen for trial eligibility, current prices and payment terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account. Accounts created before the subscription requirement may have a separate access policy.
After a subscription ends, existing care records and reminders remain available, while new photo capture and additions are restricted. Photos are retained for three months after subscription expiry. Check the retention end date in the app and export originals you want to keep.
Photo records and AI analysis require an internet connection. Delayed uploads may create an encrypted temporary upload queue on the device. Exports and sharing you request may leave copies at your chosen destination.
