• See how full the context is: a ring in each chat's toolbar, with the server's own token counts, right after a reinstall too. After a reply that used tools it shows the minimum, marked ≥. • Chat Options: the context, the model, how hard Hermes thinks, YOLO mode and the task list in one place. • YOLO mode: the app approves each command Hermes asks to run in a chat, once, so long tasks don't wait for you. A bolt in the title shows it's on. • Changes in green and red: file edits, new files and git diffs show exactly what changed, with line numbers. • Hermes's task list stays above the message box while it works, with each item ticked off as it's done. • Tables in replies and notes are real grids. Wide ones scroll sideways, and Copy pastes them into a spreadsheet. • New commands: /context, /yolo and /tasks.

Sign in with a user name and password Some hosts give you only a web page to sign in to, not an API key. Add your server with "User & password" to connect through the Hermes dashboard or the Hermes WebUI. Paste the address from your browser and the app works out which one it is. • Send Hermes any file: on these servers, PDFs, spreadsheets, archives and any other file you attach are uploaded in full. • Files from Hermes: files Hermes makes for you appear as cards under the reply. Tap one to open, share or save it. • Answer Hermes's questions: when Hermes needs a decision, it asks you one question at a time, with suggested answers or room for your own. • Agents, Skills, Tools, jobs and note actions work on these servers too. • Messages sent from another device now show what you typed, with files and notes as chips instead of their full text.

iCloud sync and chat history fixes. • iCloud sync: the servers you've added now follow you to a new device or a fresh install, with no need to set them up again. • Chats after a reinstall: opened chats no longer come up empty. Your history loads in full, including messages with photos, videos and files. • No more duplicate servers when you add one by hand while iCloud is syncing. • Messages that start with a square bracket now appear as you wrote them instead of being merged into the previous message.

Hermes Paper 2.0 is our biggest update yet. CHOOSE HOW HARD HERMES THINKS • The new effort dial sits next to + in the message box. Slide from Low for quick, cheap answers to Max for the hardest problems. • Each chat keeps its own setting, /effort changes it as you type, and Settings has a default for each server. • Shows on servers that support it. A REDESIGNED AGENTS TAB • The board opens on open tasks, most urgent first. See who's working at a glance, tap a teammate to see only their tasks, filter by status or search. • Edit a task after you've handed it out, or release a stuck one so it can be picked up again. • Runs going for more than 45 minutes get a Long run tag. • Offline? The tab keeps your last board and tells you. • Give each teammate their own effort level. Team setup can be stopped and resumed later, and the team editor keeps what you typed if saving fails. SMOOTHER CHATS • Long chats open straight at the newest message, with no flicker or blank screen. Earlier messages load at the top when you want them. • The jump-to-latest button only appears when you've scrolled up. • What you're typing stays put while a reply streams in, and sending an edited message as a new one keeps the original. REPLIES YOU CAN COUNT ON • After a dropped connection, replies carry on where they were, and Stop works even mid-reconnect. • The lock screen no longer says "All done" while Hermes is still working. • If your server doesn't know the model you picked, the chat tells you instead of quietly using another. AND MORE • Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open more reliably, and damaged or very large files no longer crash the app. • Anything you share before adding a server now waits for you. • Deleting a chat or a server leaves nothing behind, Hermes Cloud restores more reliably, and an approval always answers the request you're looking at.
