El-Kuran El-Kareem
Quran with Synced Recitation
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Unfold your iPhone Duo to open the Mushaf with the Bismillah, and stand it like a tent to hear the Quran recited with every word lighting up in sync.
A beautiful Mushaf that behaves like a real book, with the complete Holy Quran in Arabic and English, word-by-word synced recitation, and prayer times with the adhan.
A BOOK IN YOUR HANDS
• Open the gilded cover and turn pages that curl like paper, right to left as in a printed Quran.
• Every page is framed in an illuminated border of interlaced eight-pointed stars that follows the curves of your screen.
• Fold the corner of any page to bookmark it, and keep as many bookmarks as you like.
• Browse the whole Mushaf with the page scrubber, or jump to any surah or ayah from the table of contents.
THE COMPLETE QURAN
• All 114 surahs and 6,236 ayahs, set in the King Fahd Complex's Uthmanic Hafs typeface with full Madani diacritics.
• Read ayah by ayah with the Sahih International English translation, or switch to the printed Mushaf layout: the 604-page, 15-line Madani edition, line for line.
RECITATION THAT FOLLOWS ALONG
• Listen to Alaa Eddin Al-Qaisi, streamed and synced so each word lights up in gold as it is recited.
• Tap any ayah to play from it, skip between ayahs, and read the English translation beneath every verse.
PRAYER TIMES, QIBLA AND ADHAN
• See the day's prayers on a 24-hour dial with a Qibla compass at its centre, dressed like the cover.
• Hear the adhan at each prayer time, and get a notification with the adhan even when the app is closed.
• Choose your calculation method and Asr time.
MADE FOR IPHONE DUO, IPAD AND APPLE WATCH
• On iPhone Duo, unfold the phone to open the Mushaf with "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim", and fold it shut to close it with "Sadaq Allahu al-Azim". Stand it like a laptop to start the recitation, or open it slightly to see the prayer clock on the outer screen.
• On iPad, read two facing pages in landscape, like an open book.
• On Apple Watch, glance at the next prayer on a 24-hour dial, find the Qibla with a compass that turns with your wrist, and feel a tap on your wrist at each prayer time.
