Introducing Scheduled Tracking — you can now set a start time for phone tracking. This is especially useful when you’re still at the dock and want to set up tracking for later without forgetting. Thanks to Ralf Moller for the idea. We’ve also moved Bluetooth permission prompts out of the login flow, so they won’t bother new users.

Reduced app memory usage and included several bug fixes.

Improved error detection.

In this release, we’re introducing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration. With this feature, committee boats and sailors can connect to BLE anemometer devices to collect and transmit wind data in real time. This enhances live rankings, race visualization, and performance statistics. We’re starting with integration for Calypso Instruments, with more to come. If you have a BLE anemometer and would like it to work with eStela, please contact us.

We have updated the core libraries. The user interface library has been replaced.

Improved crash detection. Fixed several issues related to deleted access keys. Enhanced some translations.

We have enhanced our crash detection system to reduce gaps in tracking data.

Fixed an issue where current available tracking sessions were not displayed correctly while tracking.

We’ve added a new screen for tracking sessions that allows access to race results and downloading related data. We also fixed a minor bug that prevented tracking from being cancelled.
