I just downloaded this app and did I get purchase the year’s subscription to the app. I assume one is paying for the algorithm used to obtain the super clear throbbing bass even through ipad speakers. Okay. I get it. ** TO THE DEVELOPERS: YOU NEED TO ADD TWO MISSING FEATURES: (1) APPLE WATCH CONTROL (other less-impressive music apps have that.) Series 4 watch allows for useful complications and far-better integration that before.** (2) PLAY and ACCESS APPLE MUSIC. ** This is a no-brainer. I just finished an app, myself, it is not that difficult to do when you have the latest API and the tech info from Apple Developers Net.

I downloaded this app because I got a new Bose Soundlink Mini II Bluetooth speaker and I needed to dial back the bass a bit on some songs to control distortion (the speaker wasn't cheap so I don't want to blow it!). The app did great for that, but what's even more, I discovered it was also capable of making my truck's factory audio system really sparkle as well. It really crisped up the highs and added rich details that I wasn't hearing when just using the standard Apple Music app. It's absolutely amazing for free, and I am going to upgrade to premium with my next iTunes card. I imported all my songs to Equalizer+ and now it's all I use!UPDATE - I purchased the premium version (shows as Equalizer+PE on my phone) and gained a bass boost that really helped things. Turns out the Bose Soundlink Mini II can handle a bass boost, though only about 0.3 dB. Also, I have since upgraded my truck’s entire audio system so using the EQ app is no longer necessary for great sound. Guess what? I still use it, but I set the EQ to FLAT so the head unit’s EQ is what shapes my sound, but I do use the app’s bass boost and bump it up about 2-3 dB for nice deep bass. Also use the app on my soundbar at home with the bass boost and EQ custom settings I have stored, which is another benefit of the paid version, the ability to make and store custom EQ curves. This makes it easy to switch from my custom setting (used on the soundbar, Bose Soundlink Mini II, and my Bluetooth headphones) to a FLAT setting for use in the truck while still keeping the bass boost. I’m very happy with the app. I don’t know what all these other people are talking about with the problems they mention. I’ve not tried to do some of the things they have such as using music in the cloud with it. I simply store my music in my phone and play from there. Also have not tried to download the app on a new device so I don’t know how that will go, if my paid version can be downloaded or not. I’ll find out when I upgrade devices, but the paid version was only $3, so while I would not like having to pay again, I’d still do it. For now, 5 stars!
Great alternative to crossfade-less Apple Music app.

So I’ve had this app for a very long time, so long that I remember when this app let you unlock every feature this app had by watching a lot of videos. That’s how I got my lifetime full version of this app for free. Since those days, I’ve used this app on and off. But I always come back to it for how easy the app is to use and how your able to customize exactly how much bass you want, what kind of visualizer you want, and the different equalizers. I also like the different fade effects and how early you can trigger it. I haven’t been able to find another app like this. My situation is special compared to many others, so I love it!

I had been using this app for 5 Years now paid to unlock all the features now they want me to pay a monthly subscription to listen to the Music I own on ITunes yeah right pay monthly to listen to my music I already purchased greedy and lame app developers all want monthly fees instead of a one time purchase that you own like the music I buy I paid you to own the app as my property then they just steal the app back by locking the features I paid for up front and now want a monthly fee from me this is consumer fraud these app developers are thieving scum bags can't just be happy with the $12 bucks I paid to unlock everything they didn't even change anything the application is the same as when I purchased it no improvement at all just want a monthly payment for the privilege of using a equalizer
