This is utterly amazing and simple! No pressure, just play! Tap on the katakana to hear each one pronounced and added to a scrolling list at the top of the screen and then tap the music icon to hear them all read back to you in the exact order clicked. This is great for learning the correct native pronunciation of the katakana, better learning to recognize the katakana, and practicing your own pronunciation. It's great to practice your reading speed and spelling out words and listening to them in katakana! The katakana themselves are also colorful and you can produce every sound in the Japanese language! Every single character is included from the small "tsu" to the little "yo" and of course the dakuten and handakuten characters! Vowels can also be lengthened with the "-" mark. If you learn best through play and exploration you'll most likely get a lot out of this app! I can't believe it is free! There is a small non-obtrusive ad banner at the bottom of the screen and no pop up ads! This app is worth a good $5 even with the ad included! Thank you Holy Inc!
