Doug is a Dwarf. Doug loves digging. Well, actually he doesn't: what he likes is to find buried treasure. Anyway, one day Doug decided to gather as much treasure from as deep under the earth as he could go. So Doug dug. And he dug. And he fought monsters and avoided massive avalanches of falling rock. And then he dug some more. And he picked up lots of bling.
Now it's your turn. Help Doug dig deep down under the earth in the quest for shimmering jewels and precious gold. Go farther and deeper than any of your friends. Find more gold than anyone in the world. Oh but watch out for colossal cave-ins. No they're really colossal—you won't believe it. And creepy monsters. And bottomless pits. Ah, don't worry it's just a game.
Do you like Spelunky? Dig Dug? Well c'mon you like Minecraft don't you? Well then you'll like this. Plus it's cheaper. And better. Plus your friends are playing it and you don't want to be left out, do you? Or maybe no one is playing it, in which case you'll be the one who introduces all your friends to "Doug dug." Then everyone will say, "Hey look there goes *your name here* who introduced us to 'Doug dug' and who is therefore cooler than the rest of us because he/she discovered it first." One of those two great options is bound to happen.
So what are you waiting for?
Doug dug. Will you?

Good. Gets old because lack of content
This game is good but get boring after a while. I have lost interest in it almost completely. I think that this game has opportunity to expand. I would say this game is not worth buying currently.
I could happily throw out to the builders of this game many ideas to make this game more fun.
One annoying thing, I think that the 100 saved high scores prompting “it’s a new high-score” should be limited. Basically feels like I’m getting the high score every game. It should be changed because there should only be ONE “high-score”.
Great game excellent mechanics and storyline
I had no idea how good this game was gonna be when I first got it but now I know it’s one of the best on the App Store.
You see when I was a boy my grandmother had an island when I was a boy. Nothing to boast of. You could walk along it in an hour. But still, it was - it was a paradise for me. One summer, I came for a visit and discovered the whole place had been infested with rats. They’d come on a fishing boat and had gorged themselves on coconut. So how do you get rats off an island, hmm? My grandmother showed me. We buried an oil drum, and hinged the lid. Then we wired coconut to the lid as bait. The rats come for the coconut, and they fall into the drum, and after a month, you’ve trapped all the rats. But what did you do then? Throw the drum into the ocean? Burn it? No. You just leave it. And they begin to get hungry, then one by one they start eating each other, until there are only two left. The two survivors. And then what - do you kill them? No. You take them, and release them into the trees. Only now, they don’t eat coconut anymore. Now they will only eat rat.
This memory is very similar to the story of the game and I hope that this will draw you in. Thanks for reading this and have a good day.
Worth Every Cent.
This is the type of games I love! I would totally buy it even if it costs $10. This game is straight up good and the developer is still active. The mechanics are very interesting such as how the blocks fall, how to kill enemies, etc. This game is so addicting, I play this game every opportunity I have. Keep up the good work and I support you 100%. I have some suggestions you may want to add the game but totally your choice!
- The Ghost Mummy shouldn’t spawn above the player. (This happened to me once maybe it’s a bug but it killed me instantly)
-I probably haven’t gotten down enough into the mines but if there isn’t, add new areas where the block materials are different and engaging. New enemies. (Maybe add some sort of boss?)
-Have a store to buy just skin characters but not upgrading shovels because it could possibly ruin the game.
-More power-ups such as, a bomb/C4 you can drop and explode (Press the button again to activate the explosion), double money value, and more.
Some people are having a misunderstanding about the $0.99 upgrade.
Read the app “History Updates” and the developer explains why he made that choice. But yeah I would buy it over and over again if I had too. Outstanding game.
